Everyone at Twin City Dentistry is always so nice and they seem to remember stuff even I've forgotten about before they look at my chart! They never let me forget to schedule an appointment, even when I'm in a hurry. I have two problematic teeth and they've gone out of their way to make sure they don't hurt, even remaking crowns, at no cost to me, when they thought that might be the problem. I must confess that the cookie when I leave along with all the personal touches doesn't hurt either. I'm looking forward to transferring my kids here when they out grow the pediatric dentist.

When we were called back I was surprised how large the space is with all the treatment rooms and bays. We were in the monkey room and so much attention to detail. Dr. Kate Lambert specializes in this procedure and is very thorough in her initial consultation and exam. We spent an hour with her to determine whether or not a frenectomy would be medically necessary and I felt like all my questions were answered before following through with the next steps. She took the time to learn more about my concerns, did an oral exam, a functional assessment, took photos and videos to keep on file but also to use for a reference to discuss everything she noticed that was causing limitations. Tongue and lip ties are often misdiagnosed because most doctors are not trained to identify the more subtle classifications. Dr. Kate is educated is being able to identify all classes of tongue and lip ties, not just the obvious ones, and helps you understand your child's anatomy more in depth. The procedure itself uses a C02 laser which is up to date, quick and simple. It can be done the same day immediately following the exam if you choose to go forward with it. Afterwards you are shown recommended stretches to aid in your child's recovery and learn how to access the videos, should you need a reminder on how to perform them correctly. 2-3 follow up visits are included in the cost if you are paying out-of-pocket, which I greatly appreciated. The office and waiting area is decorated with kids in mind, so for those who are taking their toddlers and small children know they will be easily entertained by the clubhouse and toys! Staff is super friendly and readily available to answer any questions I have! Parking can be tricky on a busy day but other than that, no concerns!

Despite having my insurance company on the line verifying my coverage, they are refusing treatment until a pre authorization is received from insurance....the same insurance that has dutifully paid for many years and is offering verbal confirmation of my coverage. The dental office claims "company policy" requires the paperwork before treatment, with a 4-6 week lead time; this is strictly on the Lane and Associates side, as my insurance has a NO wait policy....bc sometimes you need immediate care. Meanwhile, I'm in tears with pain, with no reprieve but a pay for the entirety of the service, out of pocket. My years of being a customer means nothing, and the reality of a patient in pain in front of them gets no mercy. This is a corporate, heartless, shady business, with profits in front of patient care. They have put in new dentist chairs which are fairly comfortable. The best thing a TV in the room. I went in for a root Canal, and shockingly the only discomfort was the injection of the numbing meds. Beside that NOTHING. The most odd thing was what was on TV during it...shark week! Dr. Edwards has an amazing bedside manner, and personality. He and his assistant talked during my procedure. It was very general topic (TV) so I didn't feel as if they were talking as if I was not in the room. At one point Dr. Edwards, as he was drilling my tooth said something so funny...very hard not to laugh...very hard!! My wife, and my oldest son both come here as well. It is a great experience for all of us. They use technology very effectively. I get text messages with appointment reminders, and they sent me an email a few hours after I checked out wanting feedback. Best yet they deal with my insurance and are more then willing to work with you on a payment plan if needed. Honestly this is the type of service that you want to see everywhere!!
