What an amazing time I had at Kickback Jack's. My family has been saying that they wanted to take me here the past few visits to Fayetteville, well today was the day. The hostess was so welcoming upon our arrival and when we were seated our server was so accommodating and friendly. The space was large and had many TVs with all the sports events. Our server was friendly and made our time enjoyable. Everyone tried different items from the steak, wings, salads and fish meals. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we were able to get a discount because one of party served in the military. Overall it was a great experience. We checked in for a party of 7 with a 30 minute wait and then a large party came in after us and was told it was a 45 wait for them. They were seated before us. Besides the fact tables were open we had to wait. A waitress came up and said I have an open table why did you seat the other table first? They did not have any thing to say. The waitress was upset. I had made an online order last night on 6/12/25 at 11:24pm. My order was a chicken Alfredo pasta. My job is an hour away from Fayetteville. I got all the way home (20 minutes away), and they gave me the Cajun Chicken Alfredo Pasta and I'm allergic to shrimp, so I never ate it. I brought the food back when they opened at 11am on 6/13/25 and explained to them how my order was made, so they remade my order. Order pepperoni pizza and got this trash called the carnivore, to avoid the risk of them doing something to our food and this place looks as if it would. Definitely not a sports bar. TVs with sports on but would not call it a true sports bar. For those not from the area - think of it like an Applebees with the tv on. Nothing more than that. Wanted to sit at a high top in bar area. We were told there are no high top available in bar area only booths in bar area. The booths were near the high tops ( which were empty and available)in same room and were empty. Then we were told there were no servers for the empty tables. Reallly?? Three empty high top tables and plenty of servers standing around talking amongst themselves! We were put in an empty back room. This was definitely a "one and done" place. Never again. read more

Kick back Jack's in Garner, NC We recently visited this establishment. We had not been in awhile so I was looking forward to a nice meal. However, the salad was really the only dish I liked. My fries were greasy, lukewarm and very, very salty. My daughter ordered a hamburger which was also very salty. The boneless chicken wings were so salty I could only eat two. What is it with all the salt? The salmon my husband ordered was the only thing not salty but it lacked favor. The tea was much too sweet. I left the place still hungry. I did not want to complain because our waitress was so nice. But I give the food a thumbs down. I will not eat at that location anymore if I can help it! I sometimes give the excuse of not so great food due to it being delivery. I dont think this was the case with Kickback Jacks. We got cheesesteaks, fried pickles, and cheese fries. None were a favorite. The cheese fries were dry and the pickles soggy. The cheesesteak was just..boo. The bun that was used isnt right, the meat wasnt seasoned and was chewy. Kickback Jack's is a great place to unwind from your day or just have a tasty meal with the family. It's truly a sports bar and grill. We came across Kickback Jack's because my sister saw that they have DJ Bingo every Wednesday night from 7-9pm. We arrived at 6:30pm and the business isn't that full. We choose our table and patiently waited for our cousin. Who I hadn't send in a few years. We ordered appetizers, fried pickles and spinach artichoke dip. Sister couldn't get her spirits aka alcohol right because they were out of a lot bottles. None the less, Shawn came around and began to pass out the bingo cards. It's 4 rounds of bingo & you've gotta know the music. Shawn only plays it and we figured out the songs. It was really fun and made me forget for a moment why I was on assignment back home. We ordered dinner as we played. Sis and I split the seafood platter which was fried shrimp, catfish and French fries with broccoli on the side. Cousin ordered baked wings. I must say that the food is delicious. Seasoned to perfection. I didn't need to add salt or pepper to my fish. The Restaurant chef did come out to talk to Shawn the DJ. We tried to get his attention to compliment the food on tonight but he was too deep in his conversation. So I hope the owner shares this review with him. BUT, I've been to 2 different KJs and have had the same problem all three times --: SERVICE. Today was the worst. We were sat down at a booth, and it took over 10 minutes to be attended to. Once the waitress arrived, she took our order, and it was another 10 minutes before getting our drinks (and she got my wife's wrong), she didn't come back to the table til over halfway through the meal (which didn't help since the mac n cheese was COLD from the moment it was sat down and I didn't get it fixed til the meal was almost done), took her time getting the check to us AND bringing it back. Leaving this restaurant 1 star is saddening because we are frequent flyers to this location however, I won't let this go unnoticed for the next customer who dines here. My mother came with my family and ordered WELL done chicken wings. The wings in the picture are the batch she was given. When she showed them to the server she said verbatim "yeah those are definitely raw". After taking them away she explained they would be remade and brought the check over. I questioned if she had informed her manager of the situation and requested that one be brought to the table. When she asked for an adjustment on the bill after being served visibly UNDERCOOKED meat his response was "we typically don't adjust anything but I'll see what I can do". Upon seating, we were told the specials (drinks) were loved and top sellers. I took the server's suggestion and was served the most Disgusting rail drink that they claimed was top-shelf. There was the repugnant aftertaste of artificial sugar. I detest that taste. When I informed the server, she got the Manager. I explained exactly what I said earlier. The manager's response was basically, 'Tough. We don't do returns on drinks'. This begs one to ask, if you don't provide returns on disgusting drinks, then shouldn't they be really good drinks? She offered to make it better... to which I said, 'so ur going to take a disgusting drink and add something to it to make it better? But the same crappy ingredients are still in the glass, (dummy). The BEST time to go visit a restaurant is when they unlock the doors for lunch. You will get the first of everything. First- I want to say we had an AWESOME server, by the name of Courtney- she took very good care of us and was very attentive with great detail. Ask for Courtney when you go, she's GREAT!! We started with the Spinach Dip and it was very good, I had to stop eating it so I could save room for my Entree. Been here a few times over this year and finally decided to leave a review after the service my friend and I received on Thursday evening. We got there about 8pm, so it was pretty busy and it began to clear out after that. Our first server was pretty nice and attentive, but disappeared for about 30 minutes or more without telling either one of us. The other bartender was more focused on the male clients watching sports, so she never bothered to ask us if we wanted anything else or even acknowledged us. The atmosphere is very laid back and it is a fun sports bar. The food is okay. I ordered some buffalo garlic boneless wings and my friend ordered pizza. The boneless wings were very spicy, but were just not something I would get again. A lot of the coating ended up on the plastic holding the wings. Also, they were extremely salty--I think that is a consistent theme with their menu to get you to buy more drinks. I would probably try their grilled wings instead of the fried ones?? My friends pizza was good. Not sure if that is because of the tons of cheese, peppers, and ranch that she added to it, but it was good for a restaurant that does not specialize in pizza. There are tons of other sports bars and restaurants to watch games at with better food in Fayetteville. I suggest one of those spots! read more

So a little weekend girls getaway to this seemingly quiet area was more fun than I expected. I figured I'd have a good time just because I love the south in general but the food and activities made me love it more. So this was my first time eating there and I decided to order a crab cake sandwich with fries. One of the other ladies with me thought I shouldn't do it because she said there's not that much seafood down there so she wasn't sure if it would be that authentic or fresh. Well to me and her surprise it was SUPERRRR GOOD! The sandwich was actually bigger than I expected and and had tarter sauce on it (which I love) and the plate was I believe 8.99 or 12.99 I can't remember but it was really a reasonable price. I would definitely tell seafood lovers and crabmeat lovers specifically to give this sandwich a go. And this place in general! We also had Jose Quavo shots. And they were strong as HELL! So here is the deal! Kickback jacks is great. It is deserving of a better rating than 2.5 stars. The food is good.. the Buffalo chicken dip is out of this world good and the dry rub wings were great. Fries were decent too. I will say based off my first time there I would give it 4 stars instead of five because they took forever to bring my drink and it took a minute for them to finally take our order. I loved the people that worked there. A bunch of sweet women working in there and they had every single game playing. You have to find your team before you sit down or tell them which game you want to watch. Luckily for me the Colts game was right in front of me. Highly suggest this place read more
