Whenever I need a massage, Grand Royal Spa has always been my first choice. Luckily, they have branches in cities I've visited such as Cebu, Dumaguete, and Iloilo. I actually found out about their branch in Bacolod when I saw their signage from across Lopue's East. I told myself I'd give them a go next time and I finally had that opportunity earlier. The spa had that distinct Grand Royal Spa look. The lobby which doubled as the reception area was spacious. There were a few couches you can lounge on while waiting for your name to be called. Magazines are also readily available from the small coffee tables should you wish to read up while waiting too - the magazines are old though. You won't have any problem keeping your privacy because the massage area is huge! The massage table was soft and smelled of clean linen. What I really love was their therapists. They all look competent and always had on a big smile. I felt good seeing the therapist looked happy because I know I will get a good massage and i was right. The therapist went on to give me a superb rub down. I came in feeling weak and tired from work and went out feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Grand Royal Spa Bacolod offers a variety of spa services but if it's massage you want, it's just php320/hour. It's more expensive than the massage places I've been to in Bacolod but it was all worth it. I highly recommend that you try out Grand Royal Spa Bacolod because you'll be glad you did.

There are drapes between the rooms and you can hear the conversations and pounding "next door". I suggest increasing the volume of the background music so it lends to a more relaxing feel. They provide you with shorts, but if it doesn't fit you, they tell you to strip down to your underwear. The towel they provide is small that it leaves your sides exposed. You can't beat what they charge for an hour massage so I guess you get what you pay for. We did love the tea they served after our massage.

It is kinda hidden behind The Academy for International Culinary Arts and the Burger Joint, though, so I'd have never noticed it except for the fact that the Thai Boran down the road was closed (for the month?!). It smells great when you walk in, they offer the best Thai stretching massage I had while in Cebu, and they give you tea at the end. All of this for like 200php. First off, it's a bit harder to find if not for the plastic pister plastered right in front of Villa Angela Arcade. Jazzle is located at the back of the building just behind BDO. You'd have to take the spiral case to the second floor to get to where it is. They are open Mondays to Sundays starting 10am to 5am. Female therapists are available everytime while the male therapists starts at 7pm. You'd want to take note of this in case you prefer the masculine touch. The place has 2 single massage room and 1 couple room so best to call them for reservation just so you don't get there without an available room. Quality of massage is great. Tata, my male therapist was very thorough, he made sure he kneaded the "lamig" off my back. He has a soft touch though so if you like it hard, you might want to request a different therapist. Jazzle Beauty Salon and Spa has to contend with 3 other spa clinics in the area - Adesso Spa, Nuat Thai, and Grand Royal Spa. I wouldn't have checked them out if Grand Royal Spa had an availability but I'm sure glad I did.
