To the uninitiated, Khan Spa isn't entirely new. This is actually Emperor's Spa before the name change. I used to have my massage in Emperor's so having been gone for over 4 years and visiting Khan Spa again felt like Deja Vu. It feels like homecoming, really.
Has things changed? Yes and no. The receptionist is new but the place feels the same. It still has that warm, inviting vibe despite the fact that the place has gotten darker.
The massage rooms are smallish but atleast they have a real door instead of the usual curtains so you can rest assured of your privacy. The room has makeshift borders that don't go up to the ceiling so the air from the a/c can circulate properly. The massage table is clean with printed covers and to my surprise, it's actually kinda soft.
The therapist was good. I like that he didn't try to talk to my during the session. Nothing can be more off-putting than a talkative therapist, especially when you plan to catch on some Zzz. He was very thorough and worked his hands on my body like a pro. I would have recommended him but I didn't get his name.
It was a great experience being back to Emperor, I mean Khan Spa. I'm glad I took the time to visit. If you're in the city and require that much needed relaxation, I suggest you give Khan Spa a go. read more
