Lined with large potted plants, during the evening hours, the temperatures were comfortable, with the usage of fans, even though the building is open air. Plenty of room for guests, tables and chairs and also for dancing and a band. Catering and beverage service takes place at the back section. I highly recommend this space for any celebration or gathering that you are planning. Weddings, showers, birthdays, quinceneras, anniversaries or other special gatherings.

In the same area they have a smaller building that is suppose to be for small social events that don't require as much space. The parking lot looks very new and spacious, which is a big plus for me because space can always become such a problem at these events. The inside of the building is very large and beautiful! They have a game room that seems to be made more for the children at the wedding events or "quinceañeras" so that the kids can stay entertained. The also have a beautiful staircase which is a great option when considering a big entrance! Lastly, they have a snack and drink shop which can be very convenient to buy water, cokes, chips, and some more beers!

Ok so you guys ever tasted the same meal from different restaurants....and say it was "good" or "Ok". Well pizza is a common meal but at Khaleesis ....the pizza is different like a whole new first time trying pizza sensation. The Atmosphere is pretty good, nice, relaxed, and chilled. They got three TVs, they can even change the channels to your liking. The food is good...the pizza reminds me of a pizzeria that I went to in NY City. Their customer service is really good. And of course even better (this goes out for those that will pay for the meal) Trust me your wallet will not go broke, it is extremely economical in there, and there is always specials. They have sandwiches, pizzas, pastas, salads. And for those that are healthy eaters they have a vegetable pizza. I would recommend it They even greet you and say goodbye to you in a very comforting and nice way. They will attend to your needs. It is all worth it. read more

Their location is the highlight of a meal there. The food is just basic fried bar food with a few salads thrown in. Their Pork Tenderloin sandwich is a favorite of many. The meat is HUGE and is twice the size of the bun. But all that fried meat is pretty dry and needs a lot of condiments and veggies that just aren't there. Their fries are very good and their Ponchos/nachos are also good. It's so big we always split the order and have leftovers. Service is pretty good, although it generally seems they are short staffed and their servers try as hard as they can to keep up, but they're running! Prices are reasonable so we'll keep coming back a couple times per winter season.

The staff, while very busy were pleasant and efficient. Megan was our server. She did great. And the food - oh my. The tenderloins were amazing. Large, crispy, perfect thickness and tasty. They were served on a large bun and they hung way over the bun. And while I forgot to take a picture of mine, I've added a picture of someone else's. I trimmed ours around the bun and my wife and I split it. The amount we took home from the trimming is at least the same amount as we ate today. This is going to make a great sandwich at home. The three couples shared 4 sides: Fries, Sweet Potato Fries, Onion Rings and Corn Bites. All good. I look forward to our next visit to the RGV and a stop at the Riverside Club.

It's a casual (no surprise) counter service restaurant with inside and out seating. The service was quick and they had already sold out of some of their offerings. Being the meat lover that I am I decided to get both ribs and brisket. I'd put the ribs in the "very good" category. This is, after all, legit barbecue. No shortcuts. The brisket is what blew me away, however. Best I've had outside of maybe Lockhart in Dallas. The beef flavor is incredible and has plenty of both fat and meat. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes barbecue but especially for anyone who loves beef.
