I have anxiety about going to the dentist, but Dr. Khemani's touch was so soft and gentle that I almost fell asleep in the chair! I never thought I'd say that about a dental visit. And the cherry on top--I met one of their amazing patients while leaving the office, and they couldn't stop saying great things about the staff either. That really says a lot! I showed up for the appointment today, and the receptionist told me there was no record of it. Not just for today--there was no appointment under my name at all. Clearly something went wrong on their end. They apologized and asked if I could come back at 10:30, but my schedule is packed with meetings and I can't rearrange things on the spot. I understand mistakes happen, but as a first impression, this wasn't great. I needed reliability, and they couldn't deliver it. I'll be looking for another office that's better organized.

Our friend visiting from out of state had a bad toothache and we were worried it was an infection…read more Upon the recommendation of our friend Echo, one of the staff here, we called Dr Lai's office and the receptionist Shirley got us in for an emergency check at 8:30am the very next morning! When we came the next morning, Shirley was super nice and helpful and got our paperwork all taken care of. Then Dr Lai did a checkup and a round of x-rays. He confirmed it was an abscess tooth and offered to drain it to relieve the pain. Then he gave us an antibiotic prescription to have the infection treated asap and gave a referral to a specialist nearby to do a root canal. He also sent a thorough email diagnosis with the X-rays to my friend's email and a copy to his own dentist. So professional and thorough! And since my friend's insurance wasn't going to cover this and we had to pay ourselves, they gave us a special discount which was very reasonable for all the work Dr Lai did! We loved this whole experience and I'm even switching my dentist to Dr Lai now!

I previously had some pretty traumatic experiences from a prior dental experience at another dentistry, and I knew a lot of my anxiety was coming from that specific experience along with a few sensory sensitivities I had. Thankfully, my journey here has been amazing, and such a healing journey emotionally and physically! Initially I was going to need a root canal but after seeing that there was a more conservative route we can take to preserve my tooth, a different plan was recommended for me. I also got 2 silver fillings replaced where they had cracked & needed adjustment.I love the subtle cosmetic enhancement it gives my smile while also protecting my teeth. From red light therapy to ozone injections, I was impressed with how much 1:1 attention, care, and intentionality went into my health plan. They don't see you as a one size fits all, they take their time to understand the problem and see what the options are. Like I mentioned in my previous review, this office's billing and clerical system is completely out of whack. It is absolutely pointless to ask the staff why their costs are so high because they will only give you the runaround. Reading through other reviews, I see I am not the only one who has been overcharged. I ultimately submitted a formal grievance to my insurance company, DeltaCare HMO. To make a long story short, DeltaCare agreed with my dispute and will be issuing me a $700 refund check. Before getting the insurance company involved, I left ten messages for the owner, Dr. Lee, and the office manager, but absolutely no one returned my calls. I am glad I fought it, as I am finally getting my seven hundred dollars back. This is not the only issue, either. I currently have a second grievance pending and am expecting an additional $2,000 refund. While the dentists at this location do a great job, their billing and accounting system is a complete rip-off. I highly recommend checking closely with your insurance company and submitting a formal grievance if your out-of-pocket costs seem too high..
