THIS WOMAN IS A CRIMINAL, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!…read more After giving relatively fair pricing, this person installed while I was away on a work trip. Not only was the work sub-par, and the glass damaged, but she ignored multiple attempts to rectify the situation, ignoring not only me, and my wife, but also our outreach from a third phone number. The shower glass is chipped and scratched and the trim is broken. The patio glass is too big for the table, and extremely dangerous, knowing full well I have a 1 year old and my wife is currently pregnant. Not to mention she put the covers on backwards and half-assed so the rain got underneath the cover and rusted the brand new, never been used table. This person is just evil. She is no different than every other crooked contractor in this town, and given the amount of glass shops in the area, I really plead with you to use someone else. Read the comments on the review sites, she's a criminal.

A lot of competitive companies will bid to install hurricane accordion shutters on your home…read more Choosing the right one is not quite as nerve-wracking as a hurricane itself, but it's right up there! This is, after all, an expensive project with serious importance for the safety of your house in the increasingly storm-prone climate of south Florida. After hearing and researching presentations by three suppliers, we finally chose Coastal Shutter and Window. And we're glad we did! There were three components to most of the bids we received. First, the kind of shutters installed and their various features. Second, the professionalism of the installation process, whether the provider would include the required local permits and provide concrete dates and times as well as promise to clean up and remove the tracks and bolts that were part of our existing panel shutters. Third, of course, price. As a package, Coastal's bid, which was not the highest, offered the best value. Of course, the big issue is always will they perform the way they say they will? We're extremely happy with our results. They had the permit ready when their very capable installer arrived (when they said he would). He completed the job in the time frame they promised despite having encountered some unexpected delays removing some of our old hurricane fixtures. The installer was very respectful of the plants nearby our windows. The job site was clean when he left. We believe you can be assured that you'll have a lot less to worry about come the next hurricane season if you hire Coastal to install their shutters on your home.

He was extremely professional, and was always available to answer any questions that I had. The pricing was very reasonable and what made the entire experience even better has how quick the entire process was. They were able to install them well before the other company's I had received quotes from, and even completed the installation in one day! The installers were also very friendly. Overall, Coastal has great customer service and I would 100% recommend using them. You will not be disappointed.

Hanes Hurricane Shutters is an excellent choice when you need shutters or impact doors and windows…read more I had a great experience with Hanes. Mr. Hanes, the owner, is very friendly, sociable and caring for his customers. He came to our home and explained the benefits between the different types of shutters and offered me a fair price. He even informed me about various rebate programs my local municipality was offering to help pay for the new impact windows, doors, and shutters. This past month when Florida was getting ready for a storm, we were confused on how to put up our shutters (the installers did a demonstration when they were first installing them, but we didn't pay too much attention). We went over the Hanes, and the owner was more than glad to come over to show us how to put them up. This clearly shows that they really care and value their customers. Even though our deal was almost a year ago, they were still eager to come over and show us how to put up our shutters. Customer service like that is hard to find.
