When I selected North Florida Women's Physicians I was assigned Sheyna Carroccio as my GYN. I went in for a problem my regular physician couldn't seem to find out what was wrong. My first impression of Dr. Carroccio was everything I could have asked for in a doctor. She was very kind, and understanding of my concerns. After the first visit she was able to do a biopsy and diagnose the problem. Something I had been suffering from for years, and saw other doctors about. I was so happy to finally have an answer and be able to be treated. I knew after the first meeting, that when the time came for me to start a family, I wanted her as my doctor. My first pregnancy was a surprise, and I suffered horrible anxiety which pregnancy seem to make worse. Dr. Carroccio saw me right away, and calmed every fear that I had. She never rushed me, and always spent time with me to ensure I was comfortable, and understood the condition of my baby. With anxiety I called several times with the feeling that something wasn't quite right. She didn't hesitate to have me come in to check the baby, and make sure everything was perfect. Nearing the end of my pregnancy I called again with that feeling that something wasn't right, and once again she didn't think twice about having me come in. Which was a great thing, because I had extremely high blood pressure. I was induced, and my baby was born happy and healthy. Carroccio was amazing, and I couldn't thank her enough for treating me in such a kind and caring manner. During my second pregnancy once again my anxiety was its highest. She gave me the same care that I had received during my first. I knew that whenever I had a concern that I could always count on her. I delivered a beautiful baby girl, and I couldn't have been happier with the care I had received from Carroccio and her nurses. I always talk highly of her, and would recommend her to anyone who was looking for a OB/GYN. She's a wonderful doctor. If you're looking for someone for just your routine GYN care or you're pregnant and can't seem to find the right OB; I would give Dr. Carroccio a call. She has always given me advice that is in the best interest of my health, and has never made me feel ashamed about my body or my weight. She's always gave me helpful tips on how to be the healthiest I can be. She's truly amazing, and I know you'll love her too.

She has come leaps and bounds through those. Barely has breakouts anymore. Only from really from stress (which he can address too!) I had an allergy to chicken (mostly but poultry too) & I have to readdress it occasionally. My issue is digestive, not anaphylactic. But the results from his work are incredible. Dr Haines always adjusts me , & I always feel so much better after going in. Great price. He used a clicker & does adjusting manually... I like both. On top of that, they both really care about you & getting you better. My insurance covers most of it, so it's wonderfully affordable. One of the things I love about this practice is the ability to book online, even as a new patient. That's always a plus these days and for someone like me who likes to do the paperwork ahead of time, that is offered as well so even before getting to my appt I was impressed. When I checked in, they explained my pricing with insurance and what it would be additionally if I were to get X-rays which I appreciated not being blindsided. Dr. Weigle herself came and got me and we quickly went back to the exam room. She took a detailed H&P, did some X-rays, went over them with me, then we got to treatment. I've been to A LOT of chiropractors over the years but I've never met one as nice, thorough, and not trying to get me to do or buy a bunch of things. Needless to say I'm so very glad I decided to go with this practice and I look forward to them help me straighten myself out and relieve some pain. Highly recommend!

They take my insurance (Aetna) which even covered copay once I got a referral from my general practitioner, and it was right by my major's department on UF campus which was super convenient. The primary reason I stopped going was because my schedule changed and now I work or have class during ALL their opening hours which are only 3 days a week anyway - pretty common for chiropractors. However I reached a point where I started to feel like it wasn't helping as much as I'd hoped. I still have a lot of upper neck pain and I had to ask for recommendations as far as exercises and stretches that would relieve the pain. Dr. Schargel gave me a few pointers, but he did it so quickly that when I tried it on my own, I'm pretty sure I did it wrong. He's very sweet and clearly passionate about what he does but sometimes his enthusiasm takes over and it leaves you feeling a little rushed. I'm not sure that's the correct description. Maybe a better explanation would be to say that he always seemed in a hurry to get you better but with all that energy, he may have skipped over some crucial steps. I got more information from UF's massage therapist who explained to me that my neck problems were caused by the strain of leaning over sketch pads and paintings, and she took almost 25 minutes to give me informational packets with the phone numbers of other locations on campus that would help me check my posture and spinal stress for free. She also gave me detailed instructions on how to take stress off my upper and lower back which I found a lot more helpful.

Dr. Z is the most thorough and complete one of them all. Best of all he actually listens, which is a rare quality in health care these days. His approach is to treat the root cause of the problem rather than mask it. I'm at the point where I live with almost no pain rather than the constant pain and tightness I felt before. That's 100% because of his capabilities as a chiropractor. He doesn't push silly add-ons like a lot of other chiropractors I've visited, he keeps it where it needs to be: adjustments, instruction on how to lift/move/sit correctly, effective icing of inflamed areas, and healing exercises. If you need a chiropractor who will give you results, Dr. Z is your man. I can't stress how much he's helped my life.

I first came here and had an appointment with Dr. Andrew. It went well, liked the way he adjusted…read moreme, listened to my concerns, and his thoroughness. After a couple sessions he mentioned the massage therapist and how it could help with my pain. So I booked an hour with Cathy. She is the sweetest lady I've met and is also very gentle and thorough. I usually like more pressure so I see their other therapist Griff. If you like someone with strong hands Griff is your guy. A few moths go by and life is great. Love my treatment plan, and have no complaints other than the front desk staffer is a bit curt. A few more months go by and I get into a car accident (Sept 2019). This was the worst, because my body was in so much pain. I go to my regularly scheduled massage and am told all my following doctors appointments must be cancelled until I see the doctor for a new initial visit. Okay, not too big of a deal right? WRONG! The next appointment the doctor has available is 3 weeks away! Mind you- I'm in immense pain and am so stiff from the accident. I had a last appointment of the day with Dr. Andrew on the books (previously scheduled) and asked if we can just make that my "new initial visit" appointment. Apparently the new initial appointment visit is a 45 min appointment and my previous booking was only 30. So, you assume I've been seeing Dr. Andrew for over a year now and he just stays the extra 15 mins that day and sees me, right? WRONG AGAIN! I even ask the receptionist to speak with the doctor and explain the predicament to see if he can make this change and help me with the pain I'm in.... nope- answer is no. Well, you can only imagine how upsetting that is. So my adjustments get cancelled for 3 weeks straight until I can see Dr. Andrew for this "new visit". A week and a half later I come in for my normally scheduled massage and am told I cannot see Griff, because I have not done the new patient visit. I'm confused & dying inside because I've been looking forward to this massage for 2 weeks, so I can get some relief from the pain and stiffness I am in. Well this same not so lovely, terrible customer service, front desk staffer tells me I cannot see anyone until this "new visit". What?!? If you knew that 2-weeks ago why did you not tell me that upfront and cancel this appointment, instead of letting me go out of my way to get off early and show up for it!?!? Well at this point I start seeing Emrys (another massage therapist) more and tell him when he is being too hard on me. He is very good a therapeutic masseuse and that is what my body needed. Things are dandy for a few weeks, until I call and have to make some adjustments to my previously scheduled appointments. Found out insurance isn't covering some stuff so I had to cut back on massages and adjustments for the rest of the year. No biggie, cancelled some and re-booked others. Came in today for my end of the day appointment with Emrys and the front desk staffer looks at me and asks why I'm there. I say for my appointment, as she says "we don't have you on the books today". Uhhh what?! I double check my calendar and yep- there it is. She says that all my appointments were cancelled. So I was not going to be seen this week or in two weeks when I had my other appointment I made over the phone. All of this was said with little to no remorse or consideration. Call me crazy, but I was about to lose my mind. I have now been coming here for almost 2 years and am just blown off with a "that's not my fault and those appointments have been booked for someone else" - what?!?! I cannot even believe that this was happening or that it was all being handled so lightly. At this point I don't even know what to do. On the one hand I love the chiropractor and massage therapist, but cannot stand the treatment I receive from the front desk staff.
