The level of education provided seems different than that of a regular public or magnet school. The amount of homework given is definitely more than most, but my daughter has soared since attending school here. Her 1st Grade teacher is amazing and still checks on her even though she is no longer in her class. (I am not including her name to keep other teachers from being jealous ) The parents are active in the school as well. They recently held an event called SMACK Night where it dealt with Science and Math activities (Science and Math Activities Connecting Kids). This is not the only event that the school holds. They beautify their campus by Campus Cleanups. They have a Butterfly Garden. All of the activities get the parents and students involved with the school as well as develop pride in the school as well. Mr. Calzadilla is a great principal, and he has amazing Asst.
