    I had a rough experience while working with Lacey Crossroads TwinStar branch to pay off a boat…read moreloan. On 5/5/22 I went to the aforementioned branch to pay off my boat loan as I had a seller lined up. The teller handed me a paper with my printed outstanding balance. I wrote the check and the teller stated I should receive my title in a couple of weeks. I waited until 5/26/22 for the title but called Customer Support since I hadn't received the title yet. The customer support agent informed that the loan is had an outstanding balance of remaining on the loan. The CS agent informed me that I have an option to get an Affidavit in Lieu of Title if I needed to sell the boat but the fasted option was to go back to the bank, pay off the remaining balance and request the Affidavit. I returned to the branch on 5/26/22 and went back to the teller that helped me on 5/5/22. I informed him that the loan was still active and I had an outstanding balance. I paid off the remainder of the balance and asked the teller what happened. The teller didn't know exactly what happened and apologized. The frustrating part of this transaction is the sale did not go through as I was waiting for the title. The teller did not give me the option of the Affidavit during the first visit. Gave me the wrong payoff amount and sent me on my way thinking I paid my loan off. I expect more from this branch after paying off a five figure outstanding balance. This experience was a huge waste of time and for that I won't do business again with TwinStar.

I then approached the person that was supposed to make the call for me. She acted as if I was a burden when I asked Amanda the manager what I need to do. She said she was the only teller mind you no one else was in the line and that it wasn't gonna be able to help me. She then stared at me awkwardly in silence until I asked her should I just leave since she can't help me she shrugged her shoulders so I have left. Not a great first impression in Wells Fargo.

I came into this branch around 11:45am and was told I'd have to wait until 12:30 for somebody to help me which with a 3 year old definitely would have been a long wait but I had no other option. So we sat down and not even 2 minutes later Ashlee was able to help me out. She was able to close my card, order me a new one and for the time being gave me a temporary card so I could continue on with my errands and not miss a beat when it comes to adulting. Ashlee not only made sure I was taken care of when it came to my card but she also took the time to walk me through how to set up my own online log in so I didn't have to use my husbands info when logging in online. Although this was not a planned trip, the wait time was not bad and customer service was excellent. This will be my preferred branch for all future visits.
