Now that everything is said and done, and all the loose ends are tied up I have to say.....QMC is a class act from start to finish. In short, we were mediocre tenants - but they treated us with nothing but respect and kindness in every way. The staff is SOOO friendly and sweet, and competent. Issues, big or small, were handled promptly. They usually had someone out within a couple hours even for non-urgent issues like the kitchen light flickering madly (they had to replace the whole fixture, but had it done by the end of the day). We had an emergency one month and bounced our rent check, and the staff was all smiles and completely understanding even as they were explaining the bounced check policies to us....and they didn't for a moment hold it against us. Move out is when landlords really show their stripes, though. We didn't damage the apartment in any major ways, but we ran out of time and left some debris and cleaning behind. We fully expected to lose our whole deposit on exaggerated charges but were happily surprised! Not only didn't they over-charge us...they really minimized the costs. We ended up with about 3/4 of our deposits back, even after the cost of shampooing and flea treating the carpets. (That's standard in their contract if you have pets. We didn't leave stains or anything, but I imagine you'd have to do something pretty big for them to charge you more than the standard anyway.) If we were still in the area, we would never rent from anyone else. I rarely give reviews, but I just had to drop in and recommend QMC to any looking for a rental in the area!

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY A Warning to Residents, Renters…read moreand HOA Boards: Do Not Subject Your Community to This Company I am writing this review not just for myself, but for my neighbors. Good people. Retirees, veterans, elders. Many do not use social media and may not know how to speak up when they are treated unfairly. They deserve better. Your community deserves better. Here is what I have experienced and what I have witnessed among my neighbors. They habitually delay responses on time-sensitive approvals. For over three years, they have used 'short staffing' as a shield for what is essentially passive-aggressive behavior. They know residents are dependent on them, and they leverage that power by simply ignoring us. There are inconsistencies in how fees are applied. Neighbors have shared with me that they have been charged different deposit amounts for the same project. It also takes them months to return deposits long after the project is complete. There appears to be no clear or consistent standard. When you ask questions, you do NOT get answers. This is all very dangerous considering the power that HOAs hold. Here is why these companies behave so poorly and act invincible in the process. Arbitration clauses built into contracts with companies like this make it very difficult for residents to fight back. Unless you know how to catch them in the act and document everything, the system is stacked against you. They are counting on you giving up and just paying. Do your due diligence. There ARE other companies out there. Better companies. Companies that will actually communicate with you and treat you fairly. If you are a resident, keep records of everything. Take photos. Save emails. Check your mail daily. Compare notes with your neighbors. If you see inconsistencies, document them. If you are on an HOA board, please think carefully about who you hire to manage your community. The people living here trust you to make good choices on their behalf. They are counting on you. Do not let them down by partnering with companies that hide behind fine print and treat residents unfairly. Your community deserves better. I cannot move forward with any improvements to my property as I require Architectural review, and cannot get the application until Buck Reynolds sets up my homeowners account. They are the worst HOA management company I've experienced! UPDATE: After posting my negative Yelp review, Melissa from Buck Reynolds replied to my post and assisted in resolving my issue. It's unfortunate that it took a bad Yelp review in order to finally get a response from their office. I'm happy now that it's resolved.

Andrea Sindelar was the seller's agent for our home purchase 12-14-21. My husband and I have bought…read more4 homes in Nevada since 2011. Never have we dealt with such an incompetent and unprofessional realtor. Our agent did everything to make this deal happen and in the end she was slighted her full commission by Andrea's seller, while she received her full commission and did NONE of the work. At the very least Andrea should have offered to compensated our agent for all her and our inconveniences (20hrs total drive time) financially and as a professional realtor in good faith. Incompetency's: 1. Andrea did not require her seller to respond formally within the required response time and yet she/they strung us along for 2 weeks with no contractual acceptance. (Extremely stressful in this market) 2. The home was tenant occupied and required 24hr notice to enter. My agent set-up a time through Andrea with the tenant and drove 4hrs. round trip to do a video walk-thru for us. On arrival of agreed appointment time no one would answer and let her in. 1 hr later after our agent called and called Andrea the tenant finally let her in. 3. On our final walk-thru 5 days before closing all the utilities had been shut off by the tenant. We drove (4hrs) to and from the home. Andrea failed to meet us at the for the property for the walk-thru and to make sure the utilities were on so we could test all appliances, hot water heater, toilets and so on. When my agent called her about this she said, " Oh, I completely forgot about doing that!" So we both had another wasted trip caused by Andrea. 4. Our agent had to wait 3 more days for the water, gas and electric to be turned back on and make another (4hr) trip to the property so we could confirm everything was working and close. 5. We closed on 12-14-21 and on 12-18-21 we drove (4hrs) with a load of furniture and to take possession of our new home. The keys provided by Andrea all 4 of them did not work nor the 1 broken battery garage door opener! We immediately called our agent who got in her car to make the 4hr drive yet again, to get us in. On the way she got ahold of Andrea and Andrea unapologetically met us our home. Meanwhile, we had gain entry through the patio slider that had been left unlocked by someone at closing. She then gave us her master set of 4 keys, a working garage door opener and the HOA pool and mailbox keys. So she NEVER turned over the correct or all of our keys and remotes at closing! The actual ironic thing is her set of keys did not work either. Fortunately, we had new locks with us this time and we installed the new ones. In closing we cannot recommend Andrea Sindelar Realtor to anyone and will be taking this up with River City Realty and the Realtor's Board. Sean and Phyllis Greene
