Wife was told she needed crowns and had the procedure done. Insurance said they saw no wear on the teeth and saw no need for crowns and wouldn't pay. Now we are paying a large sum out of pocket for a procedure that probably didn't need to be done. read more

Very poor experience - I honestly feel robbed. They seem interested in making money above patient satisfaction and care. My insurance provides 2 free cleanings a year. They promised to do better than the experience I'd had at Aspen Dental in Flowood, even saying their X-rays were poor quality so they'd take their own. Key Dental said they could only do a deep cleaning, which they wanted to charge me over $1,000 for. They had the AUDACITY to tell me I was lucky insurance covered some of it. They cleaned my teeth just fine for free the years prior. After I turned down that charge, they told me I would be billed for my x-ray - that THEY said I needed. Because I turned down the other charge. No warning I would be charged for that! Again, I feel robbed. Why be such money grubbers in Madison County? Are they not doing well enough yet? I am SICK of lying, cheating, scheming doctors taking sick people wanting to help themselves as an opportunity - then deferring all their ineptitude to the insurance companies. They're really doing the Devil's work over there in that glorified boutique they call an office. read more

I was really impressed with the quality of the people there and their impressive care. While on vacation, I had chipped my two front teeth and was afraid I would need crowns, After examination, Dr. Ross assured me that he could correct my problem without caps. He, and his dental assistant, repaired my chips and matched my teeth color perfectly. Additionally, he found a small crack in the enamel in the back of one of my two front teeth, that he repaired to prevent any problems later. I was very favorably impressed with Key Dental. read more

Key Dental has been AWESOME!! Did not have to wait long for an appointment for me and my daughter. They made us feel very welcome and comfortable. ALL dental chairs have vibration and/or heat!! Really helps you relax even if you don't get the laughing gas. And they offer many free comfort items. I recommend the lip balm that they have special made just for them. They also have a TV over every chair to take your mind off of the dental thing. I would highly recommend them!! read more

They have some issues. The dentist I use is good as is the person who cleans my teeth ( I have used them for about 10 years although am thinking of moving on as they have nearly doubled their prices from two years ago and I am sick and tired of the attitudes of some of the staff and communication issues). They are extremely expensive so beware if you have low financial limits on dental insurance. It is difficult to solve problems over the phone (I have had insurance issues) - calls are frequently not returned nor are emails. As a result you need to drive there to solve some issues (they are nicer in person than over the phone). The office director is unpleasant and unhelpful as is the one billing person I have dealt with. You question them at your own risk as they then blame you and tell you to go elsewhere. They are extremely reluctant to give you a price range for something, instead wanting you to pay for a visit to find out (after significant effort I did find out that a simple filling is $329-400 depending on how many surfaces and whether or not it is simple - this is far more than other places I called when they didn't return my call or email - guess they need to pay for their upscale location and decor). Their website is spectacularly uninformative and gives far less information than most forcing you to call (for example doesn't list the insurances they accept - they claim it is too complicated to do that. Hmm many other dentists manage to do that). They do do charity work 1x a year (although they have not since covid) which is nice. If you have good insurance (most insurances they accept are company, just a few individual), plenty of money, want an upscale location and office decor then go here. The dentists (I have seen two of them) are good and except for one person they do a good job cleaning my teeth. The down side is the failure to return calls and emails and the several problematic office staff. read more

Seem like Key Dental likes to take xrays every time you present with a new problem. And forget discussing potential out of pocket charges you may incur. Pressing hard to get a patient to commit to a procedure is the name of their game, regardless of whether the patient may be less than financially capable. Let's slap a $80 bill on them to get every last dime so we can ensure our lux Madison office is paid for. I have been there multiple times and have enjoyed every visit. The staff is always friendly, accommodating, quick, and efficient. I have a fear of the dentist and my comfort has always been made a priority. The office and exam rooms are state of the art, patient comfort centered and spacious. I have even needed to get in quickly for a dental emergency and got an apt the same day. I would recommend them to anyone! read more

Leaving this review from a horrible visit a couple years ago. To this day I'm still unhappy with how I was treated. When I went to their old location it seemed great but once they got the new expensive looking office they tried charging an arm and a leg. My insurance covered a free teeth cleaning. I went to there new location. Was given an X-ray first then they moved me to another room where a lady discussed how I needed to do $6,500 dollars worth of work and if I could pay that day?! I said I only wanted my teeth cleaned.. they said they couldn't do it because I needed more work. I understand that but leaving with no teeth cleaned and I had to pay $75 for an X-ray was not cool. All the things they wanted to do my insurance wouldn't cover for a year. I never got any of those things done and I'm perfectly fine. I found another clinic who took care of my teeth cleaning. STAY Away from this location. My family was long customers of Key Dental and had similar visits and will not return. I want to speak so highly of this place because of the experience from their old location but my gut is telling me there is other things going on as in getting people to pay anything they can for the new facility and sucking money from insurance companies. I'm sure they train their staff this way and think it's right but this is not customer service. read more

Dr. Chad Stokes, his assistant Lindsey, and the staff at Key Dental were excellent! I am from Las Vegas, NV. I came to visit family in Mississippi and broke my tooth. Dr. Stokes was able to see me right away. The practice was state of the art; very patient-centered, super clean, and relaxing. Paperwork was easy to complete and my appointment was right on time. Dr. Stokes and Lindsey were very professional and friendly. They gladly accomadated my requests and clearly explained to me what needed to be done. Procedure was quick and pain-free. The price I paid for the work was fantastic; especially since it was an emergency. I am truly grateful for Dr. Stokes, Linsdey, and the staff! A very pleasant experience! Highly recommended! read more
