I don't listen to this station, and I absolutely can't stand the voice of their afternoon DJ "Jake Easy", but we have seen good results advertising our Shasta County businesses with them. We have been advertising for years on K-Shasta and Q-97, and we were hoping to target a younger audience with Mix 101, but after having a nightmare experience with that circus of a radio station and their very incompetent sales staff, we decided to give Power 94 a try and we have been impressed with the results in a short time. They have delivered the younger female customers we were looking for. I recently had a random encounter with their morning DJ Tad Shackles and he was very cool with us, even before he knew we advertised on his station. Results Radio manager Beth Tappan has always been the utmost professional as well. I still won't listen to it, but if you're looking to target a younger demographic for your business, Power 94 is your station in Redding. read more

The morning broadcasting is becoming awful! I absolutely love the JohnJay and Rich show but 94.7 just can't seem to stop the doubling of songs over the show or that funky electronic sound that interrupts the show monthly if not even weekly at times. It's beyond frustrating! Also when the JJ&R show airs, the station only plays old songs. Really hope they get that figured out before I have to hunt a new station that airs JJ & R show in the early am via satellite radio. Update: I contacted the radio station and filled them in. They looked into it and got back to me. They did find they were having equipment issues. I do appreciate them contacting me to update me. That was pretty cool..so changing my rating due to great customer service. Now let's hope they got this handled ;) read more
