This place was hard to find in the business building but we made it. We were starving and looking for something fast. This is a very small place with a few tables. They have breakfast foods, Asian food, and boba type drinks. The pepper steak bowl I got was very good. Egg was included and was yummy. There were too many red onion chunks but I ate around them. This is probably extremely convenient for people who work there and was helpful for being a food source next to the Embassy Suites. I would recommend.

The server was very nice. I had to call twice, though, because I wasn't sure where it was. It is in the Airport Center and down to the left. The security officer up front was extremely helpful! Give that guy a raise! The food is made to order, so I'm sitting here enjoying the quiet murmuring of conversation between people. There's literally six people in here besides me. The food looks so good as this guy is eating his. It's piping hot, too. I can see the steam. Oooo, I can't wait! It's a very intimate place and dimly lit, which is nice. I feel very grown up sitting here. LOL. No overwhelming loud music or blaring tvs. There are tvs in here, but they're off. Sometimes, you want peace and quiet, and you'll definitely get it here. We ordered the orange chicken, fried rice, and crab ragoon for me and the lomo saltado with the fried rice for my husband. He also wanted the ube coffee latte. The orange chicken was okay. My husband likes the lomo. It is flavorful, well seasoned, and cooked fries. The beef is well seasoned, too.

Over all I am glad we swung by this place after seeing it on Instagram. But I admit, hidden gem is an accurate description, we are lucky there was a sign that caught my eye last minute. My coworker and I tried a bunch of things, the Phillly cheesesteak fries, the steak and noodles and the general tso's chicken with fried rice. The Philly fries were so good! The rangoons were light and airy too. The beef and garlic noodles were good, even if the beef was a little on the fatty side. The chicken tasted great. The staff was polite and prompt. Clean and quaint atmosphere. A hidden place to sneak away to lunch.

It's a positive experience but they are clearly short staffed so if you don't care about time go if you have to be somewhere in 2 hrs don't

This is more of a fast food restaurant, so it's just the cashier that handles everything, but all the workers are really nice! Ambience is like a normal fast food restaurant. I definitely will come here again whenever I'm craving Korean fusion!

Looking back, we probably should have expected that the "fusion" aspect just wasn't going to be for us. I ordered the Gogi Combo Bowl with both BBQ beef and chicken. Instead of tasting like Korean BBQ, it tasted much more like teriyaki. Unfortunately, both the beef and chicken were very overcooked, making the texture dry and unpleasant. The cucumber kimchi was also disappointing. It had so much cilantro that it completely overpowered the dish. It didn't taste like kimchi at all. My husband couldn't even finish his meal, and we ended up throwing away all of our leftovers, which is something we rarely do. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars instead of lower is because the restaurant itself was fairly clean and the staff was pleasant. Unfortunately, the food just wasn't for us, and I wouldn't return or recommend it based on our experience.

I'm glad they had room for us but, it's still safe to make reservations. We did not know they are a tapas style restaurant, but that didn't deter us. And we were pleasantly surprised at the size of their "tapas". What we ordered was enough for two people to share. Dumplings - 9/10 Gulf Shrimp & Noodles - 10/10 Blistered Green Beans - 10/10 Ramen - 9/10 Service was great. It's a casual atmosphere, but perfect for an intimate date night.

Light dish. Tc double cheese burger: very strong flavors, somewhat sweet. Dense/heavy dish . Our waiter was quick and friendly. The restaurant lighting was dimmed and gave a more intimate /bar environment. I think the ac was broken here because it was very warm and they had fans going on around the room. I think this place would be good for someone who is prefers an American fusion cuisine that leans heavily on the western style dishes. The fusion elements were cute but I still left unsatisfied but still full. We did not park. We walked here right from the river walk. Not a bad place to go if you arrive in town after 9 pm.

If Kabayan Kusina is any indication of what we will experience, coming back home might be purposefully delayed. Located in a shopping center across from the HEB on De Zavala, nearly hidden, is a restaurant waiting to treat your taste buds to a wonderful meal. The Sisig, pork belly, is so flavorful that it in itself is worth a repeat visit. Wifey added the Chicken Adobe, upgraded the white rice to garlic rice and added lumpia as a side dish. Push all 3 to the middle and let the festivities begin. The chicken is tender, sauce is tasty, and the mixture of all 3 just makes us excited about our upcoming trip. Just before you push yourself away from the table, be sure to ask if they have the Ube Crème Brûlée Cake. It's only available on the weekends and it goes fast. It's a purple mousse cake with a caramelized top. Light, so fun to eat, and it made us spoon fight to the final piece. I had thoughts of licking the plate afterwards, but I was on my best behavior.
