We ordered their Chicken and rice plate and mixed vegetarian combo. Ordered from the counter and paid . No tips needed. The chicken was good . The rice was so tasty but oily. The garlic cream was an additional cost if you want it. The salad was not so fresh. The chicken was already cooked and they warmed it up. The mixed vegetarian plate was ok. Saw the server picked up the veggies from their food cover with bare hands. No cloves. I wished at least hand gloves for sanitation. There was flies flying around. It's summer. The bread was burned. The prices are reasonable and usually the Doner is really good. I always order Doner at Arbil and I am very rarely disappointed. Sometimes the chicken is rubbery and tasteless but it is usually very good. The beef Doner meat is also very good usually. The staff at Arbil is all very friendly and easy to communicate with even if they don't speak. The restaurant itself has very nice decorations and furniture. I would recommend Arbil to anyone looking for Doner in Heidelberg.

We did a quick search and saw that Yasmin's 2 Pizza & Döner was still open. It's a Turkish spot that also randomly makes pizza. We dropped in on a Friday evening (around 10:00pm) and it was dead. A couple solo diners and teenagers came in after us but that was it. The inside has plenty of tables but it's bare bones. Service was to the point, no pleasantries. The menu is behind the counter; donairs, house specialties, snacks, salads, pides and pizzas. Not sure if there was an English menu available. They also had some baklava on display that looked good. - Döner im brot (#1) (€4,50 large) - chicken, salad, tomato and sauce. The bread is actually warmed up and nicely grilled. Chicken was a good portion but the slices were on the salty side. They ask what you want in your doner (lettuce, tomato and onions). - Lahmacun classic (#19) (€3,50) - with salad and sauce. I don't get it but all the Turkish spots in Germany roll up their lahmacun's into a wrap. I liked this better than the doner as the ground beef was tastier. Does the job for a late night dinner/snack.
