She also walked us through the actual purchase step by step, which was super important because even though I'm a lawyer I understood .001% of what the paperwork was about. However, communication throughout the entire process was extremely poor. It took almost a month for her to list the home, despite our family helping to clear things out promptly. My parents' home was not in the best condition, and while Cathy initially offered to help improve its appearance for the listing, that follow-through didn't really happen. What's most upsetting is that my parents walked away with less than 20k from the sale of a home that sold for more than 400k. That outcome is incredibly disheartening, and I truly believe they were taken advantage of. Whether it was a lack of transparency, poor negotiation, or just overall lack of advocacy -- the service they received was far from what any family should expect. As their daughter, I feel terrible that my parents had this experience. I believe Cathy could have done much better, and I hope this review encourages more awareness and accountability in how agents treat clients, especially kind hearted people.

Items you can use or something you just love. They are friendly and do a good job on the auction write-ups. Photos are good and very important so that buyers know exactly what they are getting once the auction closes. Rarely do you find broken things here that are in bad shape. I have been happy with everything I won at this auction and I have told all my family who live in the area about them. My son loves sports stuff and magic cards while my other son likes art and collections. It has turned out to be a family thing and when the time comes to unload, I would not hesitate to use this company.

I purchased it in JULY and it's October. I no longer want the item and he breached the agreement to send it within a couple of weeks after purchase. Claimed he filed an insurance claim with the USPS. Fine! That's between HIM and USPS! My agreement was with him and he didn't deliver!!! No updates, no follow through. The only time I talked to him was if I took the time to call him. I just want my money back. Thought Scott was a solid guy and a good businessman. I tried to be patient at first, but it's been 3 months. I just want my money back. Think twice before doing business with this guy! EDIT:: Now he's telling people that because I signed for the package he shipped, that somehow proves I received the items he claims to have shipped. Apparently the concept that I had to sign for the package at the USPS in order to take possession, open, and check the contents of the package is lost on Scott. He wants this to be my fault that he didn't deliver what I pid for, but he gets to keep my $200. He also told someone that USPS refused the claim, but he never told me that! I've never seen any proof that he even filed the insurance claim. He has never made any effort to deal with this situation - never initiated an email or phone call to tell me what's happening. A business owner with any integrity would give a damn about their reputation, but not Scott. Again, I'M WARNING Y'ALL!!! If you do business with this guy and he treats you the way he's treating me...? Well, I tried to save you! He STILL hasn't even shipped part of my purchase, 3 months later.
