It tends to be pretty busy on the weekends though, so consider that. Additionally, everytime I am here, I find myself waiting in line to check out for quite awhile, they usually seem pretty under staffed in that area. A clean store, the employees are helpful and it is easy to find everything as well. The prices are good, nothing too special or incredible.. but it does get the job done. If you are looking for any sort of home good item.. this is your spot!

She helped us pick out lighting fixtures, bathroom tile, wood flooring, bathroom fixtures and paint colors. She was so helpful and made suggestions regarding size and colors we wouldn't have normally considered but, so happy she did as we went with many of them. We also ordered a custom master king size bed where we were able to choose every detail and she helped us every step of the way. It's gorgeous!! Everything turned out perfectly. We've purchased home decor items and gifts at the store. Such unique and beautiful items. And the staff is always so friendly and helpful. Usually carries lots of cottage-y type furnishings and whatnot, but as of today, November 12, unless you want Christmas decorations, you might want to give this a pass until the new year. Don't get me wrong; they're very nice decorations and very affordable, ranging from embroidered tea towels to garland to crystal ornaments and larger decor, but that's pretty much ALL that was there today. I'll definitely be back, but only when it's no longer a Christmas store.

He has an eye for a pieces that are architectural beauties. Yet, he can also turn that basement throw away into something that should be displayed in the Museum of Modern Art. Repurpose Republic is the kind of place you want to return to often, just to see what new beauty shows up on the showroom floor. Unfortunately, Repurpose Republic was our first stop, and I was exhausted with all the wasted hours visiting other consignment stores. Save yourself some time and just "hit up" Repurpose Republic. This store is chock full of mid century/retro/some redesigned stuff all without that old people basement smell. (Thank God!) This place has more mid century lamps in one store than I've ever seen in my life!! There are a few super groovy ones that would be a blast to have just for conversation it would conjure up all on its own. The con: maybe it's my jacked up NE Mpls rent I'm now paying or my lack of experience on the cost of retro lighting but I'm not sure I can afford these prices.
