I went here on a Monday morning so the class size was small. Setting up the appointment online was simple, and was able to pay there too. I called their number listed and the operator gave me more detailed information about the class! It was also easy to find with adequate parking. This BLS class was straight to the point and it went by quicker than any other BLS class I have taken, we were out and done in less than 3 hours. KernCPR was also cheaper than other Renewal facilities I looked at I paid $65 for renewal compared to some-places that charged $85. The instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful, plus they provide snacks and coffee which is always a plus! Tests were graded right away so there was no delay in receiving BLS card. I checked out other businesses and KernCPR is the best. This is my first time to renew with Kern CPR . Easy and quick registration. I registered 2 days prior to my class. Our instructor was a great! The class was less than 4 hrs including time to take test. The class schedule is listed on their website with some weekend classes which is good for those who work during the week. Some programs you need to actually call them to schedule. For some reason they didn't know that and made me feel so stupid for calling them..I came here because I was looking for cardiac nursing jobs and I needed to learn heart rhythms (which I've never had to read before) and renew ACLS. The class on reading heart rhythms wasn't very detailed and kind of rushed. They made me feel silly again for taking both this class and the ACLS class and didn't understand why I wanted to take both (no comment). I probably shouldn't have mentioned that I was a RN I think the instructor assumed I already knew it all and so she didn't really have to teach me the basics. I felt almost completely unprepared by the time I did get a job as a telemetry nurse and had to take another arrhythmia class again. For how much the arrhythmia class cost, I expected so much more than that! The ACLS class wasn't bad, pretty standard and the instructor was able to answer all my questions. 3 stars off for the cost and a lack of professionalism. read more
