I've been a patient with dr Paul since 2002. I had multiple back surgeries and fusions in my low back from S1 to L4. After a surgeon in Des Moines made a huge mistake by fusing L4 to S1 with rods and screws but did not support L5, my screws broke and no fusion took place
I was sent to Minnesota for an 8 hour surgery to remove the broken screws and replace with metal gages which then fused solid.
I saw dr Paul because everything above my fusion was locked up tight and twisting. I had pain in my neck and upper back and down my arms to the hands. I didn't want another surgery
Dr Paul is the only one I trust. He also has gelled me because I have one leg shorter and advised me to use ice due to the inflammation.
In short, I have seen him every week for 20 years. And the follow up 14 years later in Minnesota, my spinal surgeon told me I was doing something right. Keep doing what I am doing because the normal return time is 10 years later to fuse the vertebrae above the top fusion.
