Apartment complex for people who live on assistance programs. Must be willing to live in/ on a dirty property . I had high hopes for the new management. I understand that its new management and they have to clean up the mess the last management left behind. It was a disaster, but then I kept thinking "well they are nice and seem to care" and so I understood the pressure they are under. I also gave them a good review in the past because there has been improvements. Unfortunately things are bad again. I would never recommend this apartment complex to anyone, along with the surrounding complexes. They have SO MANY issues, that coming here you will only be added to the long list of complaints and maintenance issues. I'll give this place time to fix it up, and when that happens I will update this review because too much bad has happened. First I want to talk about the ghetto neighbors in this unit. Multiple people blast their music so If you work hard during that week and want to relax peacefully on the weekend, that is very unlikely to happen. If you keep your windows open people's smoke will go inside your home. Oh yeah, the energy here is bad. If you are sensitive to energies or spiritual, I'm letting you know there is definitely something bad here, especially apartment 3. No one stays there, EVER. People are also always fighting, Including us! I'm also not the only tenet who feels this, multiple people feel this dark energy. There is also a tenet who throws parties in his garage, but no one does anything. I know the new management is doing their best with such little staff and so many units/complexes, but it's taking way too long at this point. It's been a year and they still can't settle on a new manager. It's temp after temp after temp. They hire and fire people regularly. They don't care about the tenets here. They have black mold and roaches inside their walls and everywhere outside, they allow smoking in the units so this is not a kid Friendly place. I literally had to cover up every nook and cranny in my unit because cigarette smoke was coming into our home, even roaches! Thankfully I got rid of them. Oh yeah and did I mention they don't care about their tenants? They literally put 8+ lives at risk from a chemical exposure, and didn't care to disclose the information the tenants inhaled for days. They don't want to have it on record, so thankfully they fire department has it on record. They had toxic chemicals go into multiple apartments, which is illegal. They refused to leave the windows open due to the worry of vandalism. They chose their cheap broken down apartments over the health of their tenants, including children. Then they tried to blame it on everyone else rather than take the responsibility. Maybe a report to the county and California Apartment Association will finally make them do something about all this crap. Also, THEY DONT PROVIDE 24hours notices, they give you a 0-6hour notice. The maintenance is so behind, that I have literally been waiting for 2 years to get things fixed here. They have layers of paint on everything and it peals off so easily. The paint literally flakes everywhere, and sticks to anything. My daughter had her head against the wall and her hair got stuck to the paint. The kitchen sinks have massive water damage. They don't repair anything when someone moves out, they just paint over everything, they don't even clean it. The carpets are used, mine came with wear and tear which caused dangerous accidents. Do to the carpet being used by so many before us, the carpet flattened and I slipped, which caused my door to fall off. (Way to easily) The earthquakes have caused damage over the years, I have a cabinet so misaligned that the border/frame is popped out with nails. THEY PUT A BANDAID ON EVERYTHING. They are cheap, and all the care about is their money. If you move here you will end up regretting it. Unfortunately due to COVID we are stuck here for the time being, but I can't wait to get out of here. Please keep in mind none of these things would be an issue if the management actually took care of their complex's, tenants, and if they actually followed the law. This is NOT a safe environment for children. APT 10 is disgustingly filled with roaches. APT 3 is haunted(i know it's silly, but ask anyone here, they will tell you) Last thing, about apt 10, I have never ever seen so many roaches in my life. It's in the thousands! This is the worst place I've ever moved to. poor up keeping of the complex. Trash all over the place. Dirty laundry room that steals your money. Roaches in every unit. I've never moved into an apartment that has no washer and dryer in unit, and you will be billed additional $240-$350 per month for water, sewer, and trash. That came as a shock to everyone whom moved in here within the past five months. It is ILLEGAL to charge tenants on utilities for profit! Not only are you paying your water bill, but you are also paying for the old their washer machine's water bill! There's only one master meter on property, so the one large bill is split up amongst all tenants, including the manager whom also lives on site! They will make you pay a Security Deposit on the remote control for the security gate that works half the time. You will get charged for a 2nd parking spot even though you have a two bedroom unit, you only get one parking spot and must pay for a 2nd. There's no dedicated maintenance crew. Anything needs to get fixed, will take multiple online submission requests, to get their attention. There's mold growing in the walls and all around the windows. I can't wait to move out. Dont move in here. You will regret it. What you think will cost you $2K per month, will be $2200 - $2500 per month. Not worth it at at all. Go find you a nice luxury apartment or a house rental for these prices. Old appliances, and the owners l, Management, and the property management corporation are very cheap. There's no walk up gate for guests or deliveries. No Unit numbers on doors so your package will not get delivered and if they do, it'll be to the wrong unit. RENTERS BE AWARE!! read more

DO NOT RENT HERE THEY SCAM People OUT OF THERE MONEY!! This is by far the worst apartment I have ever rented. They definitely false advertise, management is unreliable and unprofessional! They owner/landlord is no help at all either! They illegally withheld my security deposit, created a previous balance of 4,000$ to justify taking my deposit. I lived there barley a year. Rent went from 1445$ to 1550$ I left the place better than it was given to me and they still kept mine and a few other tenants deposit! Maintenance is horrible it's the managers husband and her dad. Stay away from this place! I agree they do scam you out of your deposit and raise the rent on you without any upgrades to your home or justification as to why they are doing so. They will charge you bogus late fees and let me not start on the rodents and vermin that live within the walls of this place. You have to pay if you want a security gate for your front door, but you can't take it when you leave. LOL I mean I did pay for it so its mine riight? I could not get away any quicker thank God I got out before my family and I got sick from the rodents and vermin. As a new tenant here I definitely want to take a moment to make it clear that the couple reviews on here in no way make me feel any less than great about making this apartment my new home. The manager was beyond kind and understanding and made me feel hopeful for a better life ahead for my kids and I. She is a godsend and I just wanted to contradict the things that I read here.
