Kentucky Welcome Center Rarely have I entered Kentucky from this highway but I did a very long time ago. This has turned into a beautiful place in addition to the typical amenities. Back in my day we used to stop at what we called truck stops in Kentucky. We loved to eat where the truck drivers stopped to eat because it was a lot of food for a good price. You won't find that at this welcome center. You will find a rest area and clean bathroom most of the time. No matter where I enter Kentucky I always feel welcome. I lived in Eastern Kentucky off and on for Ten years. You gotta know where to go! I'm highly recommending you stop and be welcomed if you're traveling this way.
