That was until a friend recommended Mike at Malpigli & Associates. He spent at least half an hour on the phone with me explaining all of my coverage and what each was meant to cover. He showed me that high deductibles are not always the best value and showed me where my coverage could use some improvement and where what I had was good. It became clear pretty quickly that if you only spend 15 minutes on your insurance you are probably missing something important. He took all of my information, explained how the companies underwrite and what they all look for. He promised to get back to me in an hour or two and he called me back in half an hour with rates from three companies that were less than what I was paying with lower deductibles and higher coverage. He recommended a company I had never heard of but came to realize is a great company. (Utica National) He saved me $848 over Geico lowered my deductibles and tripled my coverage. He also gave me rates for Travelers, Hartford and Progressive but Utica was the best for me. He said he would "squish the lizard" and boy did he! Hell, they even know the policies of your crazy old man who needs a little help in remembering that you have to pay for insurance before it lapses. Anyway, the gang here absolutely rule. Family owned and operated, and they truly treat you just like one of their own. Which could explain why i'm always being asked to take out the garbage and to sit up straight when I visit their office. If you're looking for great policies that save you money, call them.
