After all of the letdowns, I was very skeptical of "ear physical therapy" (aka vestibular therapy) but he really gave me my life back. And I'm not saying that lightly. Little to no sleep does a real wonder on the mind as well as the body and I was on a steep decline. I can't express my gratitude enough. And I felt heard. He took the time to talk to me first and listened to all of my concerns (and crying). I couldn't even get through the first day testing without an episode and subsequent freaking out, but he never made me feel bad about it. He worked with me exactly as I requested. I was becoming depressed and gaining weight because of the pain. Someone I suggested said I should set up an appointment with Dr. Mowry! I did and I am in love. Dr. Mowry took time to really listen to me. She was bubbly and caring. She knew just the right questions to ask and get me to explain what I was looking for. I have had 4 sessions with her and have felt major results for the better. Am I pain free no. But it's less severe and makes me feel like things are moving forward. Both he and his wife see him for treatment and all in all... I hear good tings. I had what I thought was a pinched nerve in my shoulder blade for the past few years, at this point. Its annoying but not debilitating. I tried to get it treated through my old doctor in VA through x-rays and MRIs but sadly they found nothing wrong, even though I knew something was wrong. "The Good" - Plain and simple, I feel better. The knot/stinger/whatever it was went away after the first treatment. There is still a ways to go to correct the problem from ever coming back but I know the plan and it is not something that I cannot do... so I am in. Although I am relearning the correct way to sit. ;) - Jon knows his stuff and asks the right questions to find out how things happened so he can make things better. - The office is comfortable and does not have one of those doctor's offices feel. This is mentioned for those that really do not like doctors. - Appointments are started, when they should be, on time. This has become a continuing problem with medical offices over the past decade. If the appointment is at 10AM then you see Jon at 10AM. Also there is a follow up call the day prior to confirm the appointment. - During treatment you will occasionally hear "There it is" or "There we go" when you spine moves to where it is supposed to be rather than where it was. - Very cool music playing the background, my first session started with Stevie Ray Vaughn. "The Meh" - Nothing really bad to comment on. "The Bad" - Nothing really bad to comment on...
