The outdoor play area is unmatched-- absolutely pristine. Special activities during the summer are daily, including Science Center and National Aquarium visits. There is an impressive amount of transparency with the indoor/outdoor cameras, published curriculum, event calendar, and food/sleep logs. I have "reminded" my teachers of special requests when consistency wanes with time, but I always get an immediate and courteous response. Communication is consistent and prompt from administration, as well.

We get photos of the kids learning through crafts, playtime and songs. If the our kids are sick, the staff and teachers ask how they are doing and are truly concerned for their well-being. Both kids have great friendships there and talk about their friends at the house. Kiddie Academy offers extracurricular activities such as soccer, dance and music. Throughout the year, they have several weekend events that include art and crafts, science experiments and projects and open houses that include visits from book characters, bounce houses, snacks and play activities. They are very organized and dedicated to the learning curriculum, and we are always amazed at the new words, concepts and activities that our children have learned. The live video access that KA offers is a huge plus for us as well!

She's at Goddard for 2 months now and it's like night and day. The director of this facility is moody, unprofessional, and insecure, and combative person. The teachers are ok. But the facility looks very outdated. The fridge are old and so are the toys and the furniture. The only way they update the parents with your kids activity throughout the day is this outdated paper system which not only annoying to fill up everyday but it says the same thing daily that you doubt their accuracy. I also feel that the environment is unsafe. When my daughter was here she was constantly sick. There are no medically trained individuals in the facility to objectively decide which kids are too sick. The directors child looks sick all the time, but is there all the time infecting other children. BEWARE of this place. I urge any parent contemplating on placing their beloved child in this daycare to look at other daycare places first. There are a lot of other daycare facilities in the area that are better. I only brought my daughter here because we were new in the neighborhood. After asking around, we have found out there's so much more reputable places out there. They almost always have a waitlist but they are all worth the wait. Don't risk sending your child to the wrong daycare and endanger them. UPDATE: I also have communicated to parents who have left this facility with similar complaints. It's like rotating door in this facility. I've spoken to former teachers. They told me that the pay is low and management is poor and they are trying to get more certifications to transfer to another center.

I've worked in several daycare centers, and none required 2 hours of free labor before making a final decision. I didn't bother doing a second interview, because I quickly lost interest. Also, the other lady who posted a review on here...I see what she means. I was wiping noses in the 2-year old classroom, and it was pretty smelly in there. The two teachers in that classroom didn't seem to like their job either.

From day one, the staff felt like extended family. They treated our children with genuine care, respect, and love, creating a nurturing environment where our kids thrived. Brenda and Eric, the owners, have always gone above and beyond to accommodate our family's needs. They were approachable, kind, and genuinely invested in each child's development. They've also built a strong community through thoughtful events like Dogs for Dads on Father's Day, Mother's Day celebrations, fun date nights, trunk-or-treat and graduations. Academically and socially, our children left Goddard more than ready for kindergarten and well ahead of their peers. The foundation they received there has had a lasting impact on their confidence and love of learning. We will always be grateful for the safe, enriching, and loving environment Goddard provided for our children. It truly became a second home, and we can't recommend it highly enough.

An answer that kept popping up: a teacher. That told my husband and I that the kids themselves truly admire and like the staff here. We've seen the advances in reading, math, shapes, colors, etc. over time but the joy she has in going to school wasn't to learn.. it was being with the teachers and class... which makes learning fun. Hats off to Mr. Eric, Ms. Brenda, Ms. Jess, and Ms. Laurel. They do a fantastic job in maintaining a secure facility, strong communication, fun learning, and a great attitude.
