The teachers all seem to be engaged and there are music and art activities available. There are a couple of drawbacks. Their campus is too small. There is not enough space for the children to play outside and getting in and out of the parking lot creates massive headaches for anyone travelling down 3 Mile Rd. Class size is relatively large. Communication with parents isn't the best. It seems like there should be more information such as upcoming events or news on their website and there is precious little available. I couldn't check up on an event my children informed about and couldn't remember the details.

I've chosen Rugrats as my daycare provider for over 10 years now. Yes, it's hard to get into a daycare center. It's hard to get into any daycare center. Rugrats has been flexible with our ever-changing schedules, have done my daughter's hair better than I could, pretty much potty trained both my children, and have taught my children lifelong lessons. Some of my greatest friendships have come from that center! I love them dearly!

It lead me to believe that they don't take children of my kind. I knew someone else who have been trying to get their child into the daycare for years often visiting, still no response. What a beautiful facility! I went to a play this weekend by Grand Rapids Christian High School and…read morewas incredibly impressed by this facility. The fact that something so beautiful is available to high school students is truly a blessing. The stage is huge, the lighting is professional, and there is even a place for the orchestra. I never knew this facility was available, and couldn't believe its beauty. This community is truly blessed.

We thought Ali could use a…read morelittle assistance with reading and math and being that Ms. Melissa was an elementary school teacher working on a masters level reading endorsement, she was the perfect fit. Mrs. Vogel provided one on one tutoring at an affordable price. Catered much more to my daughters needs and more accommodating/flexible than working with some of the larger tutoring companies out there. We were sad to see her move to away, but then again we did too (have since relocated to Chicago). Nonetheless, she comes highly recommended!

This review is only for their Friday fish fry during Lent. It's around $15 for an adult meal that…read moreincludes fried or baked fish, fries or baked potato, coleslaw or apple sauce, and homemade mac and cheese. You can also buy up to two additional pieces of fish and they usually have a small dessert option (last time it was cups of ice cream or cookies). They also have kids meals available. The line moves pretty quickly and this one isn't as popular as some of the other local fish fries, plus it's close to our house so we usually go once a year. Payment is cash or check only. The food is always pretty tasty but we always laugh about the mac and cheese - it has onions in it, which I think is such a polarizing ingredient to put into mac and cheese. But I like it! Overall it's not the best fish fry but it's still a good option especially if you live in the area. They have a small parking lot and there is street parking available.

I went to Camp O'Malley many years ago. My main memory of Camp O'Malley is from a morning at…read morebreakfast. I have never written about this before. From that breakfast to the present it would serve me well to forget. The counselor for that breakfast-believe it or not was a young man that actually lived just down the street from where I lived. I didn't know him but knew where he lived and he was also quite older than me. Through the food line they would give you WHAT to eat. I asked that they not give me any oatmeal. But they said I didn't have a choice. Being from a low income family the counselors thought that I would make a GOOD example if they would FORCE me to eat that breakfast oatmeal. Well that was very mean and after I gagged up in the bowl they worked twice as hard to make me eat that oatmeal. I know back then Camp O'Malley was supported by Police Departments. So it was my thoughts back then that amp O'Malley was closer to a military camp than a leisure, fun camp. So after that I have never had another bowl of oatmeal to this day. And just because I came from a low income family was no reason to force their will on me at such a young age. Also after that I never went to another camp. If I could go for less than 1 star I surely would.
