You can have as many people in the car as there are seatbelts but there were just two of us. Their snack bar is now just candy and a few drinks, including beer. So if you wanted hot dogs or anything like that, you won't get it here. However, they let you bring outside food and drink--probably why they charge more. We made a huge batch of homemade butter popcorn, brought our own waters, candy, and jerky. The car next to us had brought in pizza and Chipotle, which I'd do next time. There are restrooms on the site and they were very clean and plenty of stalls (at least for women). The one thing I did NOT like aside from the price is that you have to use a radio to listen to the movie. I have a 2019 Subaru and my car battery almost died after leaving it on without the engine running for both movies. A couple people had cars that needed a jump. So either bring a handheld radio or bring jumper cables. We would come back again because we like older movies but it would be nice if they had newer movie options too. It's a cute date night if you like old school things.

I also liked that you could bring your own beverages. I wish the screen was larger, as the lot was pretty full so we had to park farther away. Also, being new to the Rock Complex, I wish I was given better instruction for where to go to enter.

We went on their website and saw a decent variety of shows so we made our selection and made the reservation, which is required. It's an hour from our house and it's worth the trip. We arrived an hour and a half before our movie started as they recommend, which was perfect. The lot is big and clean and they are currently accepting less cars due to the pandemic. They have a guy who comes around with a concession cart that has basic snacks and drinks, but we brought our own. (I recommend this.) There are port o potties on both sides and right now everyone has to wear masks when you're away from your car. We packed blankets and pillows too and my daughter and her friend sat in the back of our truck, while we also brought lawn chairs and set those up too. It was a perfect night and a lot of fun! Can't wait to go again.

It was pretty annoying to have your 2hr movie go from starting at 10:30pm to 11am. We all had sound problems at the start of the movie, and had to turn radio station on and off to get it synced with movie. The only thing that saved this from being a one star review was that the port-a-pottys were ridiculously clean; a staff member went in after each person and sprayed everything down--most sanitized toilet I've used since Covid.

This gravel field is at the end of this industrial street with a large building in front of the screen that has lights on. The are low budget scones indicating where to park. First two rows are reserved and last had a private party. The color contrast is so dull and just sad. The movie started late due to technical difficulties and half into the movie, the audio stopped and after 10 minutes, they just skipped to another scene. Im absolutely speechless that they would charge over $40 for this very low quality movie expierance. I will most definitely not be going back.

If you are getting a popcorn to share, then just do yourself a favor and get two. There were no technical difficulties during our visit. The staff were nice, and out of the way for the most part. We had a great view of the screen from where we were parked. I miss drive ins, and I would come back to this one without a doubt.

The backdrop of Chicago was an incredible scene. Rooftop Cinema Food and drinks were expected the highlight prices. You also receive perks as you buy and spend with redeemable points. The Staff was remarkably generous and very well mannered. They inform me about the inside seating along with the food and cocktail menus. We ordered pizza, hotdogs, soda, popcorn and candies. I also had to do a little indulgence with the cocktail menu with the drink called Frozé. Loved it! It's always a pleasure when you can still adult while tending to the kiddos activities. Haha! Honestly, check em out at least one time! You will not regret!

I discovered the Rooftop Cinema Club Fulton Market while watching a reel on Instaform talking about…read morethe showing of Inception and I jumped at the chance to see the movie. This movie is one of my go to movies and the whole concept blew me away the first time I saw it and I still love the concept. The Rooftop Cinema Club Fulton Market is located The Emily Hotel, on the rooftop (hence the name...HAHAHAHAHA!) The layout is quite nice. You enter on the 6th floor but to access the cinema requires you to go outside and down a flight of stairs. There is a bar to the left as you enter that serves cocktails, bubbles (yay!) and some food (pizza, chicken tenders, walking tacos, etc.) and to the right you can pick up your headphones and tickets for popcorn (if you purchased a ticket that includes popcorn). Seating consists of Adirondack chairs and loveseats. I purchased a loveseat, which ended up costing me about $75 in total (price of ticket, fees) but I wanted to spread out and have space to put my feet up and have a table next to me for my food and drinks. Seating is first come, first serve, which I am cool with. I love that they had astroturf on he ground, it felt nice taking my shoes off and feeling it on my feet. When checking in, you get this nice set of headphones to listen to the movie through. I was wondering how that was going to work with the street noises downstair. The person handing out the headphones made it a point to let me know that the headphones were ready to and had been sanitized. The Adirondack loveseat was comfortable and I was able to spread out and enjoy the movie in style. I took a bed seating pillow with me as didn't know what to expect in terms of comfort. While I was glad I took it, it wasn't really needed as the cushions in the chair were just fine. But it did come in handy as a pillow so I could walk the movie in a reclining position. This can be an expensive movie if you are like me, requiring some space, comfort, good eats and bubble. As I mentioned, the ticket for the loveseat was about $75, plus an additional $100 for bubbles and food, but I am worth it. That said, while I loved the experience, I am not a fan of the programming to date. There are offerings that I am sure most people love to see, I am not a fan of them. But the minute they have a movie I want to see, like Inception, Alien/Predator/Resident Evil franchise, to name a few, I will be back to the Rooftop.
