If the pandemic and working from home have you feelin' some type of way, might I suggest gardening?…read more Hear me out. Plants are like children that can't yell or throw things at you AND they provide you with edible sustenance. Tending a garden carries all the joys of parenting minus the snot and poo diapers. I call that a win. If you feel convinced to take up gardening, look no further than Earth First for all your soil needs. I highly recommend using compost to fill a raised garden bed (and mix in a couple bags of Miracle Gro while you're at it). One scoop of compost from Earth First is $16. So. Cheap. You will need a trailer or a truck bed for the compost to be scooped into so begin complimenting your friends with said trailer/truck now to hopefully utilize their services if you don't already have one. If you're only getting compost, you don't need to go onto the scales first. Simply drive in (carefully!) and wait for a person on a loader to pull up next to you. Be prepared to yell a little because those machines are loud. Tell the driver what you want and how much (half a scoop, one scoop, etc). Then sit back and wait for them to load up and dump the compost on your trailer/truck bed. It's kind of an honors system, but you pay at the far left window on the white building. They take cash or credit. If you want rock or mulch, of which there are a million options, you do need to weigh your truck/trailer first and then weigh again once you've been loaded. Those are priced by weight versus a scoop like the compost is. Earth First does deliver, but they charge per mile so be aware if you don't live near a physical location.

He has over 30 years of experience and it really shows through his knowledge and recommendations. Instead of getting a whole new driveway (which is costly), he recommended patching, sealing, and adding a bump where we were getting water in our garage. He finished our driveway by lunch on the day we scheduled. Would highly recommend!

A warning on this Budget Paver Seal company who seems to be run by One person named Jimmy Dock aka…read moreJimmy Martin. He now works here in the treasure Coast area. He gave us an invoice for work to be done on our driveway. It's supposed to come with a two-year warranty. He wanted us to make the checks payable to his name and not the company. He would go to the bank and cash the check directly apparently. The quality of work was very poor, I have called him since he did the job in January, came up with many excuses why he couldn't come, out of town, etc. has yet to come to repair the horrible work, which only lasted two days after done even after letting the driveway dry an additional two days than recommended. I asked him kindly when he would come, he blocked me, no further answer any of his emails. Please don't fall victim to this person. I tried to give him some business. Please see a copy of the invoice. The man never came back to do his job and he blocks your number when you ask him when he's coming back to back up the warranty. I have been waiting since January. Please do not use this man here is the picture of his Poor quality of work. Don't be distracted by the best price

After researching lawn and landscape companies on the BBB site, we called Lawnpro and had them come…read moreout to quote on replacing our lawn with a newly seeded yard. They were prompt, courteous, and most importantly to us; promising that we'd have a stellar yard when they were done with it. That was in Sept of 2013. As of mid-April, they have delivered on their word. From killing all vegetation in September to now, the change is dramatic, the grass came in like they said it would, and they've been out twice this spring to reseed small patches and fill in where seed was either washed away by fall rain, or maybe eaten by birds. It's not even finished filling in, and we already have the best yard in the neighborhood. I can't say enough good things about them. They told us they were by no means the cheapest guys in town, but pride themselves on being the best. We only bid the job to 2 other companies recommended by the BBB, but neither was as prompt or detailed regarding the quote we asked to have prepared. This truly is a case where we're getting what we paid for; High quality and great customer service.
