If I could leave negative stars I would. Worst customer service I've ever received. Don't even know how they have business! Told me to come in at a specific time, and when I came in at that time, they turned me away! Waste of my time! Avoid at every cost! read more

Don't go here! These guys messed up a simple oil change. These simpletons changed the oil on my Odyssey and manage to strip the oil pan bolt out. My van ran low on oil so I had another mechanic look for an oil leak. He found that the oil drain plug bolt was leaking and was finger loose and full of red RTV sealant. This hack shop was the last to change the oil. Since they over tightened the oil drain plug it stripped and then they proceeded to load up the bolt with RTV sealant to keep it from leaking, this did not work. This cost me a few hundred $s to repair all due to this shop not being able to do a simple oil change correctly or notify the customer that they made an error. Imagine them doing something complex like rebuilding a transmission? read more

Tranny is a piece of sh7t after 4 trips there i just quit they dope your car up enough to get past warrenty. You are better off with amcco

I don't know when I've ever been treated so poorly by a business! I ordered new tires on the Net, and they were delivered to Kennett Transmissions. They turned out to be way too large, but KT installed them anyway, saying nothing. I discovered the mistake, called Toyota and described the problem, and they said not to drive the car, that it was dangerous with those tires. I only asked very, very politely that the installation service be refunded by KT, thinking they should have recognized the huge size error and not installed the tires, but they refused and told me to kiss my a**. They refused mediation by the Better Business Bureau, of which they are a member. I will never go in there again and will tell all my friends not to give them business. I am amazed that they are still in business if they treat other customers this way. read more

These guys gave me a free diagnosis of my car and even explained to my why my car was acting the way it was and what it would take to fix my car. I understand a little about how things work but they explained to me why and how the bad part was affecting my car. After doing all of this they gave me a great price to get all the work done. I left my car with them and it was done by the end of the day and it felt so much better than when I took it there. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. The owner did deficient work on my car, leaving it leaking transmission fluid. A mechanic at a dealership showed me the defective work and recommended that since I had only driven the car approximately 3,000 miles since KT "fixed" it, I should take it back to KT and ask them to fix it. I did so, and owner Ed stated that he would make the repair as a gesture of "good faith." He refused my offer to cover some or all of the cost, for which I was very appreciative at the time. I left the car there for two weeks and was assured that the work was done (notably, no receipt was provided). The car clearly was still leaking fluid, and when I took it to an independent mechanic, he advised me with "100% certainty" that the repair had not been made or even attempted. The leaking seal was untouched. I paid $200 to have the work done elsewhere, and when I went back to tell KT Owner Ed that I did not appreciate his dishonesty, he became combative, said he ordered and personally supervised the installation of the new part. that he wouldn't stand there and argue with me, and that the other (honest) mechanic just "wanted to make a buck" off of me. I'm incredulous that someone who treats his customers like this is still in business! read more

Sure enough, they found the minor issue - a tie rod ONLY! Not all the "recommended" work the dealer suggested. And very cost friendly too. They were so up front and made me feel like I've been using them for years. I highly recommend and will be bringing our cars there only from now on.

Car was towed from apartment for "not displaying the parking permit" but was done so at 2:49 in the morning like they were on a repossession mission? Walked out the following evening to leave for work and it was just... gone. No notice from my property manager or the tow company. After reporting the car stolen and NCCP figuring out it was towed to Ewing, I was told BY Ewing to show up at 9am the following morning with proof of ownership. Showed up to a locked door and called the oh so pleasant gentleman who told me they would release cars between 3pm and 4pm, to bring $250 CASH and my drivers license. Showed up at 3:30pm, was told that it was now $300, and was met with quite an attitude (because "it was his last weekend working there and he didn't give a ****"). You'd think I towed his car! Wild. To put the cherry on top, when I walked out to the lot to get the BRAND NEW car, I noted pretty significant damage to the front lip and bumper where I can only assume it had been improperly taken off the flatbed. "Not their problem" though, is what I was told. I guess "safe and damage free transport" doesn't apply here. If they can't tow a car without damaging it, I can't imagine the caliber of work that comes out of their auto shop. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Solid work, guys.

I've had great experiences everytime that I have been to Kennett Transmission for any work that was done to my car. I dont know how these other people had any trouble with them at all. I have actually spoken with the owner about these low ratings from the other two people on here and he assured me that it was a misunderstanding between the customer and himself. He said he offered to install another set of tires at no charge to the customer to help them out and that the tires purchased online would have worked but the dealer insisted on having the exact oem tires from them installed. Therefore they would have made money on the install and the tires as well. As far as the other poster about not being open on a saturday. They are always there till 2pm and have even stayed later during the week sometimes to wait for me to get there so that I wasnt inconveinced by having to wait another day. read more

I honestly do understand what the other reviewers are talking about. I know the owner went through a rough time but I'd say it's the best auto shop in kennett square! I took my 2007 Honda accord here with a problem concerning the transmission after taking it to two other shops within 5 miles and the other places said I need a NEW TRANSMISSION for $2800!!! But they told me that is was some kind of solenoid and fixed it for a little over $200 parts and labor!! Plus not only did the owner Ed drive me home he drove me to pick my wife up because they needed to keep my car for a day! All I know is kennett transmissions is nothing like it is described to be and think they should have a fighting chance. 100% satisfied! read more

Great customer service! They are very reliable and I can always count on them to get the job done in a timely manner. Ed the owner is very friendly and helpful along with everyone else. I was sent there by the local Lexus dealer to see mgr Jon Sommer to assess a trunk lid alignment that was an issue for me that almost caused me to not purchase the vehicle. Jon met me at my car and looked at the situation. He took the car inside and in less than 10 minutes brought the car back out and had it repaired. It apparently was a minor adjustment, but the biggest surprise was he said no charge, just remember us for future repairs. I was beyond surprised and so pleased that there was not some hidden accident problem that I had fretted about. I have had several family vehicles repaired there in the past and knew they always did a great job. Thanks Jon! I will definitely recommend Winner Collision to family and friends.

I'm not paying twice just to hear the same thing.
