Now over a year later, they send me an invoice for a "preventative checkup" which is exactly what they told me would be covered. At the checkup itself, the doctor did nothing other than ask me about 5 questions and ask me to pee in a cup. He openly told me he had no idea how he was even checking for what I needed. I'm insulted. How do you send a bill over a year later, for the first time, and you specifically told me that my "preventative checkup" would be covered. My wife is 9 months pregnant so I haven't had time to call and refute these charges either. I will update this review should anything change. I hope to be able to call tomorrow during business hours, but my wife could go into labor any moment now and that has obviously been my priority. Update: I called them and spoke with them and asked why this situation happened and I was told that the employees who told me there would be no charge to me for the "preventative checkup", and she woman on the phone told me that they lied to me at the office. She could not do anything for me, and then I asked her how I could possibly pay the bill, and she hung up on me very rudely. I called back in and spoke with someone else who nicely allowed me to pay my bill. Good riddance.

I must say that Centrastate has a very efficient, thorough, and friendly "chain" of family practice offices. I have been to three of their sites and have happily selected Dr. Shira Meyer in the Freehold Borough office for my personal medical needs. She is thorough, friendly, initiates the right discussions, and makes me feel welcome as does the rest of the staff in the office. I also appreciate that they appear not to overbook. The office waiting area has never been crowded and waiting times have been minimal.

I had never in my life sought the services of a chiropractor until I met Dr. Zodkoy. Now, I am a…read moretrue believer in his healing powers. For most of my life I've been surrounded by skeptics of chiropracty. But as I entered my mid-40s, I started encountering people who could not live without the services of their chiropractor to help them manage their chronic neck and back pain. So when I finally injured my neck and back at 46 years old, I thought I'd do what I always did when I had this kind of pain: ignore and muscle through it until I felt better. But this time I wasn't getting better and eventually was sent to physical therapy for several months, where I finally got better. Or so I thought. It wasn't long before the neck and back pain returned. Within 3 months of finishing PT I had a stabbing pain in my neck that radiated down my shoulder and into my left hand -- rendering my thumb and index finger completely numb. Doctors told me to get an MRI, maybe go back to physical therapy -- all the usual prescriptions. I tried to muscle through, but after 6 weeks of not being able to sleep well or use my left hand properly, I knew I had to do something. It was then that a trusted family friend recommended I see Dr. Z. I was super skeptical, but I figured, let's give it a try. When I first met Dr. Z, I was immediately impressed. He took his time to diagnose me, talk to me in terms I could understand, and explained the issues I was experiencing and how they might have developed. He gave me a couple of quick adjustments that immediately made me feel better - not healed by any means - but better. He told me he could get me back to normal, but was very clear that I would need to commit to a strict plan that would span several weeks and require a decent investment, since he is not covered by my health plan. Long story short, I agreed, kept my commitment, and within 3 months I was feeling better than ever before. And more importantly, I've stayed well for several months since my last visit and was able to enjoy an active summer without pain or discomfort. Dr. Z is truly a miracle worker in my eyes. It was worth every penny I spent. I plan to continue seeing him from time to time for the occasional adjustment, despite the fact that he's 40 minutes away each way. In addition to his healing powers, I really appreciate his honesty, transparency, and overall warm demeanor. If you are serious about wanting to deal with your pain issues and are willing to make a commitment to getting well, I highly recommend you consider an appointment with Dr. Z.

I've tried two epidural shots and numerous machines sold in the market. Dr. Zodkoy was recommended to me by my aunt who is an registered nurse so I was interested. I got an appointment very fast and dr Zodkoy hooked me up with an IDD treatment. It is an 8 week process and felt results after 5 weeks just like the dr. said. I'm a very happy patient just like my aunt. I felt that writing a review would be the least I can do for dr. Zodkoy. If you are having back pain do to a herniated dis I recommend dr. She always took the time to explain what we were doing and why, which made me feel confident in the process. Thanks to Skylar's guidance and support, my recovery has gone smoother than I expected. I highly recommend her to anyone going through post surgical rehab.
