There's two levels of entertainment. The service was friendly. Only thing is that they don't have food so eat beforehand. There was a hummus plate and some desserts. We had soooo much fun. Such talented musicians. This was a must visiting from LA!

Even walking in, we weren't quite sure what to expect. The entrance is small, and you're greeted right away, which was a nice touch. Once inside, it's very dark with deep red lighting--almost like stepping into a cave. It took a moment for our eyes to adjust, but once they did, we immediately felt at ease. The space is cozy and perfectly aligned with its purpose: it's all about the jazz. The service was great--welcoming, attentive, and added to the overall experience without taking away from the music. And the music? Absolutely captivating. It pulls you in and transports you--you can't help but settle into the vibe and just enjoy the moment together. We went on a Monday, so there was plenty of seating, but I noticed there's also a lower level that likely accommodates larger weekend crowds. There's a solid drink menu and a small selection of food, but honestly, this isn't the place you come for a full meal. Come for the drinks, stay for the music, and soak in the atmosphere.

I was hoping to try a Cajun entree, but those are just offered as specials. Tonight's was gumbo...but just wasn't in the mood for that. We had the Calamari, crawfish boil and a shrimp po boy with potato salad. Po boy was good...nothing to rave about. I wasn't a fan of the potato salad- just a tad dry for me. The boil was spicy, which was great...but crawfish didn't taste fresh-but was rubbery. Calamari was a little chewy for my taste. Now, our experience wasn't awful...just had better and it was a little disappointing. Our server was great! Helpful with questions, and very friendly.

All in all, it was a good deal. For $16 I got two meals + dessert out of the special. Was it the best ravioli I've ever had? No, but they were good. The peanut butter dream (eaten later) was yummy. I really want to come back and try the shrimp & grits. The pork tenderloin sandwich was made fresh. It was really good. It wasn't one of those super thin, huge, flavorlessly ridiculous tenderloins. It was human size and tasty. I'd get that again myself. Prices were decent.
