I recently went for a follow up and it seemed like they already knew who I was. I did not have to explain much since they remembered me from 2 months ago and was told they will sign in for me. They are on point with their patient wait time because one of them came to me and acknowledged the fact that 5 mins had passed since the time of my appointment. That was right when I was having thoughts that maybe my appointment was for a later time. The staff are very respectful of your time and that is very important to me. Dr. Allison definitely makes me feel cared for. I noticed that she is a great listener and genuinely wants to hear what you have to say with no interruptions. There is no doubt that her expertise cured me of a health issue that I had for a while and overall has helped me improved my performance in everyday life. Now we are working on another health issues that I did not know I had. This is because she took her time to ask and care for me. All this while she continues to monitor my high cholesterol, which is another health risk she is helping me overcome. Over all Dr. Allison and her staff have the qualities anyone will want as their health care provider.

She asked me what my name was in the middle of the appointment. Despite having scheduled a physical exam, she automatically assumed I would not want to have my breasts examined. The staff are equally cold and apathetic to patient concerns. I had a horrible experience.

She will respond to my texts during off hour questions and always has time to schedule an appointment with me should I or should she feel that is necessary. She has been an excellent resource for referrals to some very good specialists when necessary. Recently she was able to alleviate some anxiety by accessing the results from some tests which turned out to be just fine. However, without her intervention, I would have had to wait. I am very pleased with that level of caring and service. Her assistant, Abby is also pleasant, professional and caring. She is a real boon to the office as Abby is the first person with whom a person interacts when visiting the office. I have never had to wait more that just a couple of minutes for my schuduled appointment. In addition, Abby has drawn blood from my arm with no pain and no bruising. While I certainly know this is not a for sure in the future, so far she has done really well and I appreciate that too!! I completely recommend Dr. Anne and Abby.

This place does so many…read morethings right, including: (1) the ease of making a same-day online appointment; (2) a convenient location with adequate parking; (3) a modern and clean facility with a friendly receptionist, a water bottle filling station, and complementary tissues / masks / water / snacks; and (4) competent medical staff and doctors who really do seem like they enjoy their job. They really seem to go above and beyond at this place. For example, after the medical assistant took my vitals and exited the room, I started coughing / hacking uncontrollably. She heard me and came back in and proactively offered me one of their free bottled waters, which I very much appreciated. Also, when the PA/doctor later came in and I told her my symptoms and how I had tried to self-treat with some old Rx meds I had on hand (on the recommendation of my mom, who is also a nurse), she actually commended me for doing that, re-upped my Rx, and told me to keep going. Although it was no fun to be sick right before the December holidays, this place made treating that sickness less stressful than the typical urgent care. I give this place 5 stars -- maybe even 6!

I went to this urgent care TWICE in one week, followed up via phone TWICE because my pain wasn't getting better and when I asked them if I had to pay again considering the drs weren't listening to my symptoms (which they recorded by voice note so how you don't do your research is wild), and now I've been in immense pain, unable to walk for a week now. Why keep paying if I'm still the same? This truly has been a horrible experience. I hope drs start caring more about patients, rather than the money.

I have been coming to Family Healthcare for almost a decade I think. I was very surprised by the…read morelow rating so decided to leave a review of my experience. Throughout the years, I agree with a few of the reviewers in that administratively, Family Healthcare has gone down. Previously, I did not feel as rushed and interactions seemed more personable. I can only assume that maybe they have more patients now and may need better front desk hospitality. I kind of feel many doctors offices in the area are becoming this way.  There is a general feeling of over busyness leading to administrative inattentiveness and longer wait times. I also think this happens at offices where providers are highly sought. So why the 5-star rating? My rating is based on the individual provider. I would rate Dr. Rita Sharma a solid 5 stars. I wish she still saw patients at the Olney office which I feel was more organized. She is always willing to pass on the knowledge she has and is personable. She is also very familiar with other specialist in the area and can direct to you one who has the experience needed for any medical issue you have.

No notice was received that he was no longer a current patient. Fortunately he recovered and is well. Wanting to restablish a GP we made an appointment, they cancelled it and we had to reschedule okay we did. The day of the appointment we had a funeral to go to, was not able to reschedule with adding another 2 month. We left the funeral early made the appointment. My son has Cerebral palsy and therefore two insurances one for assistance and my insurance. I hand them both cards and they say his medical assistance card is not one of their providers. No problem just use my insurance card, he is covered on that nope, can't take the card we have been taking for 20 years. Okay I will just pay it out of pocket, my son needs a GP. Nope I would be making them commit fraud to have me pay for it. So please leave we can not provide your son services because we dropped him, we cancelled his appointment, no you can't stay at the funeral and rush over, just get out even though you want to pay full price. We will send a letter explaining all of this because you insisted on documenting it, can't email the denial os service. This is all from my point of view on wrong side of the glass. So very disappointed in the lack of even trying to be part of a solution!! My opinion a failure by the office of Family Healthcare, in even matching the name of their own company . If this is how they treat family (20 years).....

I asked the hospital doctor, "Who would you recommend for your own family? Your mom or sister?" And, he replied Dr. Jesse Sadikman. I went to see Dr. Sadikman and that was the start of a wonderful patient-doctor relationship. Dr. Sadikman is my GP or general physician. He is absolutely the kindest, most caring doctor, and such an excellent doctor. He won't give up in finding what is wrong with you, if you are sick. He listens to you and is very thorough in checking for what is making you ill. He will recommend a specialist, if you need one. The office just moved and they are in Bethesda now off of Rockledge Drive. His nurses Lilly and Taryn are the nicest medical professionals you could happen to meet. They are so receptive to your needs. Dr. Sadikman is a concierge practice. So, you pay a yearly fee. The nice thing about that is you can get in to see him, when you need to. Yes, CDC lists this vaccine and advises to take it, but Dr. Sadikman went much further, asking me about specific conditions I am likely to encounter, time of the year I will travel etc. before making his recommendation. That was most thoughtful. Dr. Sadikman is so much more than other docs who just want to write you a prescriptions. I feel very fortunate to have found his practice. CPC is actually a "chain" of several offices. I called into their main line to schedule an appointment and after bouncing around a bit was able to get in at their Shady Grove for the same week. I ended up needing a follow-up appointment and was again able to schedule it for the same week I called, with the same nurse practitioner I'd seen initially. Both visits were pleasant (as pleasant as a doctor's appointment can be). Oftentimes in larger practices I've been brought back and then abandoned for an indefinite period of time in an exam room. I've always felt a bit put-out by this , and appreciated that there was a nurse or assistant present the entire time I was in an exam area. The nurse practitioner I saw, Janice Hodge, was also great. She listened to my concerns and explained what might be happening with my results/symptoms in a clear and matter-of-fact way that I appreciated. She also seemed to have a good rapport with the other staff members in the practice, which I felt was a good sign! Finally, I need to rave about the phlebotomist. Between donating blood and medical tests, I've had my blood drawn a ton. The phlebotomist here is one of the best I've ever encountered. He was great at putting me at ease, and even remembered to switch arms when I came back for a follow-up a week later. I never developed any bruises either (amazing).

SHe's rude and mocking and generally doesn't care for primary care patients who have trusted her for over a decade. She's only got time for the expensive glp1 program patients. What kind of doctor does that? She also won't answer portal messages, she insists on you making an appointment even if you have a quick question. THat appointment can take 4 months to get. Sure, I'll let my ear/chest/kidney infection or breast lump wait that long. Yay negligence. Get your diet shots from her if that's what you need, but do not trust her with your general health. She does not care, and she does not respect you as a human.
