He said he had done this surgery hundreds of times and it was a routine procedure. I had the surgery in November 2017. I followed all instructions given but after three months, the pain was still chronic. I was told that it would just take time and to be patient. At this time, he informed me that the foot had completely healed. When I went for these routine follow up visits, they would X-ray my foot so my copays and charges where getting expensive. Once he told me to be patient and the healing process was done, I didn't care to spend an additional 100 plus per week to be told nothing new so I stopped going in February. The pain only got worse and the toe was not in alignment. Finally in July I sought out help and went to see him for suggestions. It turns out the misalignment was being caused by scar tissue. He proceeded to fuss at me several times for not coming in sooner. Finally, he showed me how to massage the scar tissue and it did feel better once he demonstrated this. After about the sixth time he fussed at me, I had heard enough and got up and walked out. I have never been so frustrated dealing with anyone in my life. No matter what I did, he was just mean and talked to me like a piece of crap. I hear people talk about how this guy has no bedside manners... I would just be happy with some common courtesy and compassion. I didn't get either. I have been massaging the toe myself and it is finally getting back in its normal place but the pain continues. I should have just saved all the money I spent. It wasn't worth it.

Nobody in the waiting room. We were told they strictly see a patient every 15 minutes so that's why after five minutes they had to make you a no-show. I waited in the parking lot to see if the next appointment showed up on time at sharply 11 o'clock and they did not. Nor did someone leave at 11 o'clock. So this strict 15 minute schedule back to back appointments does not appear to be truthful. I was told that there was a patient already back there. So they must've been the 11 o'clock and they went back early. Came out at 11 minutes after 11. The 11:15 apt did not arrive. I waited until 11:25. No next patient arrived. They are lying and at the expense of my 92 yo father. I also Asked to speak to the office manager, and she conveniently was not in this office location on this date. Do not Use the specialty for any care!

He did not try to upsell me into services but he did take the time to explain my options and the benefits of the treatments. Because he was so gentle and caring, I did opt for orthotics and they have been a blessing to me. The orthotic fit like a glove and they are made out of premium materials very durable. I move them from gardening shoes, to running shoes and my office loafers with ease. they have a great selection of footwear for all seasons. The entire experience was not as bad as everybody made it out to be. I relate my pain as the same as a bad jellyfish sting! I followed Dr. Bouraee's instructions and I'm happy to say that the healing is ongoing but I am back to walking on the treadmill at the same rate as before the operation and now I am able to wear the shoes of my choice. She stated that if I did ice or frozen peas 1/2 hour on and a 1/2 hour off the entire day that it would only help the healing process in the long run.
