Just wanted to share this. I disagree with the Dr decision to keep Rufus and see. Because I disagreed I was told to get another vet to do it or surrender my animal so they can keep him alive. Turns out that we were right. We took him to another vet. Rufus was pale so pale that she couldn't believe he hadn't passed on his own. He was in pain there was only really a shell of Rufus. He was in renal failure and there is no guarantee he wouldn't make it or last a few weeks to whenever. Plus he had a massive infection in his paw. Brought him home for one week from the vet (initial vet) and on that Sunday had to rush him back not eating, puking massive bloody poop. Foot bleeding again. They Wanted to give him a week more. We couldn't do that to him. We did the right thing. The vet said he's not vomiting or poop. Well y'all have him in a kennel 24/7 of course. Well need less to say I was great full for the care they gave him. Vets have different opinions but I've never had one say oh sorry we can't see or help you anymore. They sent a copy of Jaspers vet shot regular kitty check up. So HOW CHILDISH IS THAT. The day Rufus went to the lady vet and went fast and no bowel or bladder that usually is a release and Rufus didn't. I want to say that just because a vet and the person disagree on one animal is childish to not see a healthy kitty because your feeling were hurt. She agreed it was time. Had she gave us a "you know might want to wait wed have thought about it." But she agreed. So please forward this around.

Note to veterinarians like these: 1.Perhaps you shouldnt pressure people worse than rabid bill collectors when they are concerned about their family members. 2. Obviously it's hard to say on the phone what the likelihood of danger is it could be in any situation exactly but one would think that experience and actually giving a damn about the people you serve and their pets should matter more instead of alarmist bullshit based on basically no information. "It's most likely deadly!" Oh no i suppose i better just pay the man whatever I can't afford for his 5 minutes of conversation or risk my pet dying, but yet what can I possibly do if I am poorer than 150 dollars per five minutes and a 500 fee just to be seen at all. Well that means that this doctor is the only one with the heart and soul to get out of bed at any hour of the night to come and save your animal's life, without charging you an arm and a leg for it!
