Kristin was very attentive for our big day. She was extremely detailed from start to finish,…read moreeverything was around us and what we wanted and nothing was pressured to us unless we wanted it. Kristin was on time, extremely caring and kind to us and overall wonderful at what she does. We can't recommend her enough and so thankful she married us! Kristin, thank you so much again and we hope you enjoyed the Scottish goodies and your wee highland cow!

I had delegated my now husband to find us an officiant and I gave him a few choices. After evaluating them together, we decided to have him contact Kristin and see what she would say. She mentioned that she usually liked to meet with the couple over zoom so we could get to know each other, have her know our story, and just get more comfortable with her. I loved how she has this huge document she shared with us about the different kinds of loves and prayers for people of all kind of religious backgrounds. I think the Zoom call was so important to get to know if we would like her and be comfortable with her since she would be our officiant. We immediately took to her and really liked her. She had a very calm and sweet demeanor about her and we got to know each other. I absolutely loved how she did yoga everyday and felt a connection with her. She organized everything for us, bringing us the papers to sign the day we got married, telling us what we needed to do, taking them when we were done and dropped it off for us. She was the absolute sweetest, communicated well, had recommendations for us and was a great resource since I had not done much research on what options we could do for our ceremony. Without her we wouldn't have known about Unity In Glass and decided to combine glass to represent our union. As a result we have something super memorable and beautiful from that day. I also never had to worry about this specific aspect of the day because she had it all handled. I highly recommend her and would suggest people to use Kristin's services with confidence!

The photos came in the exact time she quoted us but the edits look like pictures taken and edited off an iPhone. Not happy with them. I had to re-crop and edit majority of all photos as best I could as all the edits completely washed out our skin tone, the colors of the sky etc. I asked for the raws so I could just edit them myself from scratch and it's been 2 weeks and still haven't received them. Didn't remind us or inform to take phones/wallets out of pockets so those just look lovely in all our photos **sarcasm**. Book with someone else who knows what they're doing and takes their time on special memories like this. Updating my review! Got some of the raws back a day after making my review, which was nice of her to send as she said she didn't usually do so, but the quality of the photos look like they were taken on an iPhone..it was nice to see some of the photos that didn't come through as finals. Aside from how the photos came out, the one positive was that Anel was easy to communicate with and nice overall!!

Reverend Wendy made our marriage process smooth and easy!…read more She's got good attention to detail! She took the time to explain the rundown, made sure all the forms are filled out correctly, and that we brought everything we need the day of. She even hand-delivered our paperwork in so it wouldn't get lost with the post office during the holidays! She's friendly and accountable! I couldn't have asked for any more than that. Pricing is fair as you are paying for the convenience. Our sunset wedding at Whispering Sands Beach was beautiful.

When my now-wife and I decided to get married on a trip we were already taking to San Diego, I was…read moreoverwhelmed with how much needed to get done prior to, during, and after our trip. I searched endlessly on Google for wedding officiants and elopement packages and the prices were exorbitant for what they actually offered. I chose to go with Wendy because she was exactly what we needed. We are lesbians from Texas who wanted to visit San Diego and enjoy our wedding trip, instead of getting bogged down by the minutiae. From the get-go, Wendy informed us of everything we needed to do very clearly-- fill out the application, provide payment, and choose our location. During every step of the process, I felt assured that Wendy had it under control and she checked in with us often. We mostly communicated through email, which was always courteous and effective. It became very clear during our first phone call just how much work Wendy was doing in the background: communicating with another notary about our license application, preparing all the forms in advance, mailing out our application, keeping us informed. She even reminded us about rings, our vows, our outfits, etc. She does what she does to ensure our day is as stress-free as possible. All we had to do was be in love and say "I do." Wendy even accommodated us at the last minute by changing our location and coming to our hotel. If you are gay, Wendy is the one to marry you. She is extremely professional, compassionate, brave, and if it matters to have someone who understands and is part of the community like it was to us, do not hesitate. My wife and I wrote our own vows and when we read them, we knew Wendy was wishing us the best in our marriage and that is so so important. To be seen and recognized and guided into this next part of our lives together by one of our own felt like we were a part of something larger and Wendy connected us to that community that we have yet to find in Texas. It was such a wonderful experience that I hope we keep in touch with Wendy because she made our day so special with her charisma, her stories, and her wisdom. After our ceremony, she took pictures, had us sign our papers, and left to go mail the application for us so we didn't have to do anything but enjoy being married. She kept us posted when she mailed the application, when her check was cashed for the certificates, and when I showed her our marriage certificates which came folded (not Wendy's fault), she reached out to a local TV station to get to the bottom of why the SD County Recorder was folding official documents. Me, I'm just happy to be married, but it feels good to know Wendy is fighting for us to have a non-folded marriage certificate. All in all, you cannot beat the service that Wendy provides. She communicates clearly, provides outstanding service, and truly cares about your wedding day. For us, Wendy is not just the woman who married us, but the soul who witnessed our love and we'll forever be grateful for her.
