I came to Iskender on a drive back up to Istanbul. We had the choice of fastfood or this nicer looking sit down. We choose the sit down because of the giant piece of meat cooking in the back. When we got there my friends dad ordered in Turkish. We got the Pideli Doner Kebap, it was delicious, it was selected pieces of meat over bread with tomato, yogurt and peppers. Then they pour about a cup of melted butter over it. I think I lost a few years of my life due to the artery clogging goodness, and if I ever find myself back there I will have them put half the amount of butter on there.
