I hired Bernie to install a large exposed aggregate patio in my back yard. His price was fair and competitive with other bids. However, after the job was started Bernie started asking for more money for things that should have been included in his price. I had to repeatedly tell him I was not giving him more money for what we already agreed to. On the first day of work he even asked me to give him a tip if I felt he did a good job. As you can see from the photos the end result of the patio is less then desired or what we agreed to. The sealant is uneven and makes the patio look awful. I contacted Bernie via text with pictures and never heard from him. I called him. No answer. When we called from another phone number he answered. We explained our concerns and he said that he thinks the sealant soaked up in some areas more then others. He said that he would not return to reseal the patio unless we were willing to pay him to do it again. The agreement when I hired Bernie was that the patio would be sealed. It is not sealed properly. He agreed that it is not done but is not willing to complete the job unless i pay him more Money. I would not recommend this company. read more

Bernie and Victor did a wonderful job on our driveway. Their work was prompt and professional. We had a very difficult job transitioning between two existing concrete drives. They removed an asphalt drive area and made it concrete. This job required a lot of planning and skill. Their price was fair and they added a lot of extras after the job started. They wanted to be sure that this was a good job. They were careful to maintain a 6" depth and used a mix with extra cement and fiber. They sealed the concrete before it dried. Their crew was pleasant to work with and they answered all our questions and concerns right away. We wouldn't hesitate to hire Kearns Concrete again. read more

This company shows ZERO common courtesy and believes rules do not apply to them. They are doing a concrete driveway in my neighborhood and have on 2 occasions already started work at 6:30am, permits and noise laws all state work cannot begin until 7am. Not sure why but have noticed that police have arrived twice to speak with them. I have witnessed their staff blowing leaves from their prepared driveway well into (20-30 ft) the immediate neighbors yard. They have DAILY parked between 1-3 vehicles on the NO PARKING side of our street. We live here and this company shows no regard for any other homeowners (other than the one paying them).
