Before I start, let me say that we love the house that we bought through Weichert Realtors. The…read moreclosing went smoothly and we were able to visit the property several times before then. But there were communication issues in the process that led to real consequences for us. When we brought these issues up with our realtor, Victoria Carter, her reaction was dismissive. We were told at the beginning that the deposit amount was being calculated and to hang tight. A couple weeks later, we get an urgent call that we are late with our deposit. It got straightened out, but not without causing us to drop everything and panic. Later, Victoria recommended three inspectors. One of them, Total Home Inspection Services, did a lackluster job, and they failed to detect many obvious problems. (See our separate review.) When, after some months, we finally felt we had enough information to complain to Victoria about the inspector, she said in writing that she had "never heard of" this company. When we forwarded her the actual email in which she recommended Total, her reply was "I never used that inspector ever...I don't know how that happened." It's clearly on record that she recommended this company. Why she would deny it is beyond us, and left a bad taste in our mouths.
