That's besides the point though. Five stars to Kona's oldest and at one time only high school (from 1921 to 1997). I don't get back here often, but when I do, it's mostly for sporting events. The Julian Yates field (stadium) is still a lot of fun to watch a football or soccer game. The stadium and field are in good condition compared to a lot of other schools, and there is a track around the field in which I believe people can use outside of school hours. The school has grown a lot since it's inception, and is still the pride of the Kona side.

First of all, you would want to be a Christian before attending Youth With A Mission at any campus,…read more That way you would understand that the young people attending are those that are excited about their relationship with Jesus. There are Christian churches worldwide. The young people there are receiving teaching that will enhance their relationship with God. This is not a fly by night operation, it has been running for decades. YWAM gave me the opportunity to enrich and share my Christian faith all over the world. In Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Philippines and China. It is a rewarding and enriching experience and the teaching you receive by speakers from all over the world is fantastic. The people you reach and friends you make are irreplaceable. Sounds to me that the people who attended and left negative reviews were simply not solid in or serious about their Christian faith. This place needs to be investigated, definitely not a place where any god would be. Please do your own research before trusting places like these.

I am now attending UH Mānoa and I am glad that I completed my first two years in my hometown at Pālamanui.
