This vibe continues throughout the day with a positive, biblical message of God's truth in the work of Jesus Christ. It was just the encouragement I needed throughout the last couple of years. However the station has slipped into some anti-biblical content in it's legal segments by going political. I was fine with the programming when it lined up with God's word but I can't support this rhetoric. After emailing back and forth with the CEO I am left with no choice but to change to a station that is TRULY unashamed of the Gospel. Presently I'm enjoying Rejoice Musical Soul Food Radio. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rmsf.player

Never know what you're going to hear, but it's usually something unique and waaaaay better than any other radio station in the North Bay. Want Cambodian rock? They've got that. Want old-school blues? They've got that. Want reggae? Coming right up. It's been a joy to discover new bands and sounds via Ozcat and the vibes are always positive from the DJs. One of the few radio stations too that you can consistently hear clearly from Vallejo over the hills to Benicia. What's not to like?

FIP keeps me wide awake and enjoying whatever I'm doing. i got addicted when living in Paris, and i've come to rely on its charmingly random, mellow music to transport me from my Berkeley desk back to the 13th arrondisement. Additionally, i am convinced that FIP has psychic powers, since i've been listening to Hendrix's "Hey Joe" on repeat all day, and when I tuned into Fip while writing this review, what was playing but Popa Chubby's version of the song! Weird.

They seem to enjoy talking down to pretty much anyone that identifies as being conservative or Republican. When Elon Musk was on the Left, they celebrated him, now they hate him... go figure. Would be nice to see some diversity on the show, but anyone who disagrees with Leo seems to no longer be invited back on the show.

THE SIMPSONS - UPN - Channel 44 10PM HOMER BECOMES A…read moreMISSIONARY Be sure to check out this great episode of the Simpsons. Homer fraudulently pledges$10,000 dollars to PBS in order to get through the pledge section of a special fundraiser. All of this, because he wanted to return to some English show where they called each other 'wankers' and beat each other up. So, in order to get back to the show, he pledges the money (of course, which he doesn't have any intention of paying). PBS, with celebrities such as 'Bender' from futurama, The Super, Hank Hill all in the background dutifully taking down pledges, traces the call and the PBS PledgeVan arrives at Homer's front door. He takes the PBS Crew to his bank and feebly looks through the business window as if it was closed and says 'It sure does look like a ghost town in there'; it was 12:15. People were coming in and out and bustling about. It was hilarious. In an effort to circumvent the pledge posse, Homer runs and seeks sanctuary inside his church and to avoid the mob coming after him, gets shipped off by Reverend LoveJoy to some primitive island as a missionary. It was great. He got them gambling, drinking, fighting and in the process, developed a liking to licking orange frogs. His pupils get huge and he began to walk around with spare frogs in his pocket. When he needed a 'jolt' he took out a frog, licked it and afterwards, haphazardly tosses it over his shoulder. In the end, Homer recognizes the error of his ways and begins to build a incomplete chapel (a body of work Homer inherits from the previous missionaries, who, upon Homer's arrival, hop on his plane eager to return to mainland US and state 'We've belittled and degraded their current religion, you can take it from here!') He rallies the support of the tribe by stating 'either pick up a rock and help or you'll go to hell!' It was classic Homer gone-bad-gone-good at the innocent pace of a simple-minded, well-intentioned, fun loving, and mildly addicted buffoon. And people wonder why The Simpsons are the longest running animated show... Another Simpsons Classic!
