The beer is always well conditioned and regular's are Harveys, Bombadier and other top ales. Landlady Mindy does front of house and her husband Shaun is the chef -you're always guaranteed a warm welcome. Whenever I go in its always busy - the shops quite small so when its busy it's quite cramped in there but there are chairs available. That's the only downside. The food is really good - the chips arent greasy - I asked their secret and they said they cook in palm oil. The sausages and the fish are great as is their legendary fried green thing!
