Hired Jason because he seemed knowledgable and professional, which would be piece of mind that the job would be done right. He came out and quoted me for my job to be 3 guys for 2 days. When it was time to start the work, there was 1 guy (2 if you count the dad who just tidied up) and it was going to be done in 1 day. Surprise to me but he said after they assessed it more, that was all it was going to take. Fine, I don't care as long as it's done and right. Katy Paint Pro wasn't the cheapest quote I got but also wasn't the most expensive. Turns out Jason had subcontracted the work out, which again, I don't care as long as the job is done right. Unfortunately it was not. Granted, they did do a good job in some areas, but not so much in others. It was late in the evening and seemed like they were rushing so they could leave. They were free handing transitions from ceiling to wall and not covering things up to protect from spilage. There was paint and spackle everywhere. I later called Jason to have the guy come up and finish and clean up the mess. He would contact the subcontractor but that guy would just give me the run around asking for more time or not answering. Tried calling Jason a few times and the same thing. I expected he send someone else to finish the work or something but same run around. Cross your fingers with this one. read more

Great communication, they were able to complete job in our time frame while paying attention to the details. They really did a good job

David and Jorge were extremely accommodating with my requests. They changed the color of some parts of the house that I did not like after seeing the work done. They also changed the wood that was bad around the garage doors and painted the deck at not extra cost. I was able to negotiate the price and the overall experience was very positive. After the crew was gone, I saw some painting on the cover of my grill but Jason was willing to buy me a new one if the stains could not be removed. 100% customer centered. Jason came today and gave me a new cover for my grill. Extremely satisfy with his 4 core of credibility: integrity, intent, capability, and results. read more

They were awesome. Really amazing customer service. Painted my entire house in a not-so-flexible time span, (before move in,) and did a fabulous job. I love that the owner, Jason, was always honest. From the minute I called for a quote he was professional and always willing to give me suggestions that would make my home perfect and here I am in my cozy new house, loving these beautiful colors! His rates are good, the work was very good as well and even with the little hiccups we had along the way, Jason was right there to make sure it was done right. Jason did an excellent job painting the shutters, chimney and staining my main door. His team came on time, were very professional and completed the job as requested. I would highly recommend him for any painting needs. read more

Jason with Katy Paint Pro did an outstanding job painting our wood cabinets. Jason finished the job within 3 days of starting. He treated our home as if it were his own. He left the kitchen cleaner than he found it. The end result was better than we could have even imagined, check out the before and after pictures for yourself. His bid came in significantly cheaper than the other 4 bids we received. We even had him paint the trim and a couple room since we saved so much money from the other bids. Jason came over two additional times after the job was complete to see if we had any spots that needed touching up or he needed to clean/modify anything. Very personable guy and pleasant to be around and do business with. I gave him the key to our property to work for the days he was there knowing he would take great care of the place. Very fair and accommodating to any request. I will use Katy Paint Pro for all painting projects in the future. Look no further. read more

Stay away! Jason spent 4 weeks in my house and then sent me a text that they were done and he wanted to pick up final payment. Not done! Nightmare! Ripples in walls, ceilings drip spots and waves in the wall. He failed to texture properly and smooth out the wall. My walls feel like concrete!!! He wanted half up front and during the process then asked for an $800 advance in which I paid. I pointed out all the problems of which he agreed it was a horrible job. He then promised to be at the house himself on Saturday and everyday and assured me he would make it right. That was a week ago, no show Saturday, no show Sunday and by Wednesday he said he had a plan and assured me he was going to finish and fix all the screw-ups by Friday night. He had two men in my house scraping walls on Tuesday and then tells me he called the guys to help him figure out what went wrong and they declined to help him because it was to much work. When I walked through my house with Jason, and believe me I have photos of the mess, he had the nerve to tell me if I paid for additional paint he would give me free labor to fix his mess. He also acknowledged he should have checked the workers and been on top of the job. Four weeks later and $2,972.50 paid to Jason. I have to hire someone to fix my walls, ceilings and start over. read more

I am completely satisfied with the job that Jason and his crew completed on my house. They repaired drywall cracks and repainted nearly every room in my house. He knew we were putting our house on the market soon and made sure everything was done right so that it looked great for new buyers coming to look at our home. The best part (besides how kind and friendly he is), is that he did all of the work for REMARKABLY less than what two other companies quoted us. He even recommended that we buy a new front door to make a good first impression (which we needed) and he installed it at a great savings. Totally impressed and would highly recommend! If we need any painting in our new house we will use him again for sure!! read more

very responsive! great price! work was done well! I would very highly recommend Jason and his team. read more

To begin I wish there was a rating higher than five stars, Jason and his crew deserve that distinction. First off, the time that was taken to listen to what we wanted was second to none, Jason listened and made suggestions that ultimately proved to be the right decision. Second, the paint job was excellent, the team took the time to cover and move everything as not to have any mishaps. As just one example of the work KPP does, Jason took the time to personally attend to a crack in the mud lines in our ceiling that was not a specified object on the job. The overall price was great, Jason and his team painted the entire interior of our home for much less than other companies had quoted me. Above and beyond is the best way to describe Jason, his character is first class if he tells you he is going to do something you better believe it will be done better than you could anticipate. Katy Paint Pro is a first class company led by a genuine man of character; you will not be disappointed by Jason and his crew. read more

Jason with Katy Paint Pro did an excellent job painting our cabinets as well as a few walls. He is very reasonably priced and the quality of his work is outstanding. I left him a key and totally trusted him to come and go. He treated our home with the utmost respect. Communication was great and he took time to explain everything to me as well as provide opinions based on his vast experience. We also hired Jason to hang some light fixtures and ceiling fans. Called fore pricing witch he would not give any information on over the phone and insisted to come and see the home. Now I know why he was extremely expensive in comparison to competing companies and was extremely rude. don't waste you time or money there is better pricing and people with better attitudes. read more

We currently live in Florida and bought a house in Cypress to be near our son's family. The interior needed to be painted badly and we wanted it completed before we moved our furniture in. How do you get estimates and find trustworthy contractors when you're 1100 miles away? I got 4 estimates and there was a difference of almost 50% more between the lowest and the highest ....Katy Pro Paint was the lowest. I had a lot of questions and called Jason. He was very personable and assured me that I would be happy with the work . I signed the contract and couldn't be more pleased! All of the work was excellent and he painted much more space than the other three estimates were going to cover. Jason also told me 3 times that if I noticed any space that they missed , just call him and they would paint it. There were a few drops of paint on the garage door and when I mentioned it, he came right over and painted the entire door ...plus the adjacent garage door so they would match! We're 100% satisfied and would recommend Katy Pro Paint to anyone looking for a reasonable, honest painter. Based on our experience, you'll be very pleased and save a lot of money. read more

I had Katy Paint Pro paint the whole exterior of my house. Jason provided great customer service and updates from the purchase of the paint to the start up of the job. The crew worked very hard. The first day they pressure washed the exterior. Second day they covered and taped windows, etc. and sprayed the whole exterior. Day three they finished all the trim and the stucco section. Katy Pro Paint provided excellent work along with a good price. The lowest of 3 companies that I received bids from. Thank you guys! read more
