A year ago I bought the domain name santiagocakes.com and decided I would start to be a baker…read more(easy, right?). I make delicious cakes and cupcakes so why not? I started searching for decorations, pans, all the utensils I would need to get my business off the ground and that is when I came across Decoracake.
Located in Barrio Italia, Decoracake is surrounded by cutesy shops and beautiful architecture. I was able to find everything I needed to make cake pops, cupcakes and regular cakes with all of the products I knew from home.
Although I wish I could, the prices are a bit high here, so I can shop exclusivey at Decoracake. For the more simple, common baking supplies I found them close to Mercado Central, but for the special decorations and icings I go to Decoracake - they have everything!!
My favorite, is their shimmer dust which adds a glitzy touch to any birthday cake (it has everyone second guessing whether it is edible or not - it is)!
They also sell some great cake decorating sets - it is important to have a good quality set to making decorating easier.
They also provide delivery if you order via their website!
I have everything: the ingredients, great cakes and the perfect tools to make them however, I am just missing one thing: the artistic flair. Now, I just need to take some lessons...
