The client had video proof that the Nassau County Police lied and falsely filled out the police report. Yet the Attorney did whatever the District Attorney told him to do and did not represent his client in court except to tell him to please guilty! The client, besides working, takes care of his bedridden mother who has COPD and the Attorney knew this. His client was not guilty and had proof Yet he got 12 months probation, 50 hours community service and has to do a victim impact statement along with various other large fees of over $1,300 and do a DUI course. The evaluator did nothing other than a 20 minute visit with me and my kids in his office. He cost me nearly 5000 dollars. His evaluation was generic. Next, a week before representing me in my divorce, he vacated from the case (this is illegal in Colorado). This left me having to face my ex's lawyer by myself, since the judge didn't grant a continuance. Every time I turned around, his 5K retainer, was another 5K and another 5K. They will bleed you to death!

She was unprepared for or the witness so she made up an illness. She had the trial cancelled then charged me for it. No consideration given for the day I had to take off from work. Rebecca claimed that a man with "a red nose" came into her office the day prior and allegedly got her sick. This forced a continuance. Three months later when the opposition obtained a new lawyer, she filed a motion of unavailability, and another continuance would need to be set for a future trial, all the while working on other cases. At this point, the trial would've gone on for another 6 months at least. I had rights to the marital home and student loans. I have twin boys who had endured this case long enough. Their peace and my own were primary. Its still hard to believe, the sabotage she created...to her own client. To say ethics were breached is an understatement.

This practice was chosen by the buyer of our home to process the paperwork for our sale. The front…read moreoffice staff seem very professional and knowledgeable. However, when we met with Larry to sign our paperwork to sell our home, it seems he didn't read the contract that was drawn for sale and seemed very easily frustrated by questions. The contract stated we were to be paid for the sale of our home in a cashier's check, certified funds, or cash. After we signed all of the paperwork, we were handed two personal business checks drawn on the bank of the attorney. This wasn't in the contract. When we asked Larry if he could have someone from the practice go a mile down the road to their bank to get cashiers checks (as the contract stated) and he said he was too busy and didn't have time. We then went to the bank ourselves, who refused to cash it or issue us a cashier's check because we didn't have an account with them. We came back to the attorney's office and explained that the method of payment they issued isn't what the contract stated. Again, we were met with Larry's condescending attitude and frustration that we wouldn't "simply deposit his checks and go away". An attorney that doesn't respect a legally binding contract? No thanks. I wouldn't recommend this practice. Poor communication prior to closing and poor communication in person. A disappointment all around. (I also see he's the one personally responding to all negative reviews with the same condescension we had the pleasure of experiencing in person.)
