I'd expect them to replace a pair of faulty shoes bought a week prior without question, but no they want to assess them and don't have qualified assessors on a weekend! With Adidas literally next door I went there and got a pair of shoes at a lower cost anyway. There is another one of these stores at Bundoora and they are lovely but after the South Wharf experience this is the last pair of Nikes I'll buy.

I don't want to sound sexist but the guys that work there are very helpful and the girls...well they're more inclined to chat than help people out. I wasn't impressed at the girl who refused to help me figure out which good cheap footy to buy as a present. I caught her rolling her eyes as I turned around to the other girl working there and I was really put off and a little upset that she wouldn't help me. I finally got some help from one of the guys and told him, he apologized and when I returned to the counter she saw me coming and ran away! It was pretty embarrassing. Bad form Rebel Sport.

It is easy to find what you need, and if your stuck or a bit tight for time; the staff help you out real quick. Great for those small white Saucony gym socks for those all important body attack classes and marathon running events. I was impressed to also buy a new pair of slick Asics running shoes for only $90 (instead of $150) which was fantastic and a blessing in disguise for losing my other running shoes at the gym, and this was a Tuesday afternoon after work (while I was still a suit): great service, and thankfully a new pair of shoes in time for body pump and body attack on the trot (addicted maniac I know) that same evening, as if nothing had ever happened. I went looking for tent pegs and must have tried several (perhaps more upmarket) stores. They would set me back $2 each on average. At Aussie Disposals I could find them for 60 or 70c a pop. They also have a huge range of gas burners and stoves and have staff that are very approachable and can pretty much find you the best thing for your needs. Just ask. I'd always go here first for any outdoor stuff or equipment.

Okay, not really, but the employee who helped me out had that typical tan, ripped, handsome, Aussie surfer look about him. No, I didn't rate 4 stars just because he was good looking. He inspired me to want to get fitter and was very helpful with recommending several different jogging shorts I should buy based on my spending range as well as personal taste. Ambiance: This store is pretty tiny and everything seems fairly crowded, but don't let that deter you. Even though it's small, they still have a lot of options in stock (they just happened to make all the products squish together...) If you're looking for sports gear, try out Sportsco. The prices and customer service is without a doubt worth a look.
