Let me share and post my review AGAIN because it was deleted by the owner. It's funny that her and her husband ask her friends to put up fake reviews on here to benefit her business, but when it comes to a real customer, she has it removed. She is a very deceitful person. This person who claims to be custom designer is a joke. She completely DESTROYED my wedding. I paid this joke of a human being $4,500.00 to custom make me a black wedding dress. I contacted her 16 months prior to my wedding based on her 5 stars reviews that I now find out are fake. This lady is a FRAUD. I wouldn't spend a dime with her company. Two days before my wedding I make my own appointment to pick up my custom dress because she still hadn't called me to pick the dress up, again 2 days before my wedding. I get a call from her staff trying to cancel my appointment because "Katelyn had fallen ill", which was always the case when appointment time came around, to demand my appointment only to show up and to hear her sewing machine moving at the most rapid pace because she clearly had just started it maybe a week prior. It was hideous. It was NOTHING like the design she drew out for me, it was a mess, a disaster. I refused the worst dress I have ever seen in my life and demanded my money back. My entire wedding theme was based around this black dress. She ruined everything. She lied to me throughout the entire process while accepting my payments. All she could say was sorry. Sorry?? You just ruined a girl's biggest day of her life. She repulses me. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!!! read more

Katelyn did an amazing job on my wedding gown this past year. I had a hell of a time ordering my wedding gown where I got it from to start. The bridal store measured me wrong and told me I was much larger than I thought. My gown came in way too big. The store I bought the dress from tried to talk me into using their alterations person. The lady was rude first off and then she told me it was going to be $1000 or more to start and then they would have to see what additional charges my dress would have after they started on it. I was already really unhappy with the bridal store so I left and called Katelyn's. They were so friendly and got me in right away. They completely redid the whole thing. I mean my dress had lace and glitzy crystals and was very bling y'all over the top. I was nervous before meeting her if it would be able to be done how I wanted. But after I had my first meeting I felt awesome and was no longer nervous. I trusted them and was right. They also told me that my dress only needed $500 worth of fixing so that made me happy. Then they called me and told me it was done sooner than I even expected. I tried it in and it fit better than I imagined. I asked them if I owed any more and they said no! Truly awesome people. I will never go anywhere else and recommended them to my best friend who got engaged. And my wedding was perfect FYI. read more

This is seriously one of the best experiences I had for my wedding. I purchase my gown at a store that was going out of business. Not only did they get my dress done in a pinch, they made it fit so perfectly. I could not have been happier. I called several different places and wasn't sure where to go. Several people said they might be able to do it but when I called and the lady on the phone answered here, she was so nice and so knowledgeable. She answered all of my questions and put me at ease. I was freaking out before they helped me. I looked up the reviews before I went and I'm so glad that I picked this place. They answered all my 100's of questions at my first fitting. They also got it done so much faster then they promised!!! I went back for my next fitting and that was it, it was perfect. It was so much easier of a process that what I expected for a wedding dress. They actually got it done for less money than what they originally told me it might cost which was totally unexpected. I cannot say enough kind things about Kaitlin and her staff. Everyone there was so nice and helpful. I have actually been back since my wedding with a pair of jeans which they did a perfect job on too! Seriously go here for whatever you need. I typically don't leave reviews, but I have to for them! I used Katelyn's Alterations after my sister recommended Katelyn and her team to me. Everyone there is WONDERFUL. They started on my wedding dress, but just a few weeks before my big day, I decided I wanted a different dress. I wasn't going to say anything because of how close it was to my wedding, but when I called to cancel the alterations on the original dress, she offered for me to bring my new dress in. It was absolutely PERFECT! In just 3 short weeks, they made my dress look like it was made for me. They added cups, hemmed it, added a belt, and took it in several inches! They did such a great job that I took a bridesmaids dress to them after. I will only use Katelyn's alterations from here on! Not only is the service amazing, but the quality of their work is unlike any other AND for a very reasonable price! Hands down the best place to have any alterations done! read more

Katelyn was a dream come true. I bought a standard dress from a gown shop and had it totally remade into a beautiful masterpiece, all thanks to Katelyn! Thank you for making my wedding dreams come true! She added sleeves to my dress and spent what I'm sure seemed like a lifetime adding custom black lace. Not to mention she altered the dress to fit perfectly on my big day. The quality was top notch and I will never go anywhere else. I am a customer for life. I felt the price was very fair for the undertaking she took on to bring my vision to life. I have been very pleased with the service and alterations. I have had some very bad experiences with quality and service at other Alterations shops in the past. My wife and I have been helped by the owner and Rebecca and they are quick and professional. The price was less than I have paid before elsewhere and the quality was also better than previous tailors. My wife has also been very happy with everything she has taken there. Got my wedding dress back... And they did not disappoint! Between the million layers of lace and intricate details on the bodice they were able to alter my dress, to fit me like a glove, without hesitation. DISGUSTING, DISHONEST, HEARTLESS, LIAR! You tried to ruin our wedding. You had 16 months and were paid $4500.00 for a custom wedding dress and failed just days before our wedding.
