She also got off key a few times and some of the songs she got off time. Her head voice is too soft that when she shifted into it the microphone lost her voice and she couldn't be heard till you could tell they upped her micro phone. Also tech made her look too wrll kept. She was supposed to be a woman who has not had a day off in 15 years and she looked like she lived at the spa for 15 years. In my personal opinion she was not a proper choice for Donna. Highly disappointed. The rest of the show and performers were absolutely amazing. The woman who played sophie voice was breath taking. Went to Saturday may 18th 1pm show.​​

Lisa Mandel, the actress that played Aunt Tayna, went to the University of Arizona. This is also where I went, and it was part of an alumni event. She could not have been nicer and was extremely humble and down to earth for someone touring with a Broadway show. It was a great, once in a lifetime thing to be able to go backstage. The stage at the Cadillac was much smaller than I thought. Backstage were sound booths than the supporting cast does much of the singing from to enhance the acoustics and we also got to see some of the wardrobe up close. Some of the outfits cost up to $20K.

Despite being a team of two, they do so much more than a team of 20 could accomplish. They clearly love the kids and the kids always have such a good time going here. It's not just a choir, it's a musical education. He not only teaches kids to sing, he teaches them to read music etc. My daughter loves him. We plan on staying with Anima through out her childhood. HouseHold Arts Collective is a not-for-profit organization which produces artistic and educational community programming under 3 divisions - Open House Dance Collective, Second Floor Dance, and Fusebox Art. Each division specializes in its own unique events in multidisciplinary arts and involving the arts community and community at large in different ways. I participated in Open House Dance in 2008, which produces yearly summer dance concerts in downtown Chicago. Community members, regardless of skill level, rehearse with professional choreographers, giving them the opportunity to perform in a professional public dance concert that they may not otherwise have. A portion of the funds raised through ticket sales is donated to a charity. OHD was fun for the most part. It allows inexperienced dancers to learn from some great choreographers and perform on stage in front of a few hundred people. If you are a trained dancer, you will probably not enjoy it as much since the choreography will be too easy, you'll barely break a sweat at practice, and you won't be challenged by the dancers around you. If you're looking for something to do during the summer or if you want to meet new people while trying something new, it's worthwhile to give this a try.

From the very start of my communication with Vanessa and Ashorina, I knew I had made a perfect choice. They were so sweet and responsive, assuring me that they would create a fully Egyptian focused routine for my wedding. They even offered to start up dabke (Arabic line dancing) before they left, which was a huge hit with my guests! The cost of the performance is very affordable, especially for the quality of performance you receive in return. They communicated and coordinated flawlessly with my DJ, and were prompt and ready to go right on time! We were so excited to get started with voice lessons and it turned out to be the biggest mistake. We discussed my daughters plans and Jill said she could definitely help her on her way to her Theatre career. First, we were at her house 6 mins early, she wasn't even home and then showed up a min late. She had told my daughter to prepare two songs so she prepared two broadway songs. When she went to sing them for her, Jill said "no, how about something Pop, like Taylor Swift." Kind of weird because I said we wanted theatrical voice lessons, not Pop singing. At one point Jill spilled her drink, began swearing repeatedly and asked my child to help her clean it up. From slurring her words, to her unprofessionalism, lack of curtesy, Jill is a huge NO. Absolutely ridiculous and a total waster of time. I hope no one else makes the mistake of believing her lies of what a fantastic vocal coach she is because she's not.
