Kat is nothing sort of amazing. Her work is incredible and you will only hear glowing remarks from anyone who has worked with her. I first used Kat for my wedding , she came highly recommended. From your first interaction with Kat, you are immediately at ease and she makes you feel as if you are working with an old friend (which is great during stressful wedding planning!). I was so nervous for our engagement photos because I married a man who was not a fan of the camera but Kat made it a breeze. She worked with us, joked and even had my husband laughing. Our pictures turned out awesome. It was the same experience on our wedding day. Our memories look like something you would see in bridal magazines and off of Pinterest. I, of course, knew exactly who we would use for our firstborn's newborn shoot a few years later. I didn't think it was possible but she was just as natural with our infant daughter as she had been with my husband. She offered a fun, quick "Holiday pajama" shoot last fall and I immediately signed up to take advantage of not personally having to take the dreaded "family Christmas card photo". Kat was so patient with our 10-month-old and knew exactly what to do to keep her attention and keep her laughing/smiling. We received the digital files the same day. I may be biased, but it was the best Christmas card of 2017. No matter what the occasion, Kat is nothing but the best to work with. I have had the pleasure of working with Kat Foley on numerous occasions and have had an absolutely fabulous experience with her incredible work. What a talent!!!! We first used Kat as our Family Photographer when my daughter was around 2 yrs old and it was one of the best decisions we made. I knew our daughter wouldn't stand for the "sit and pose" style photo session and so one morning we met Kat at a local park. She ran ALL over following our daughter and getting the most amazing photos. Kat somehow gets all the little amazing shots that captured her personality and those little beautiful moments that as a Mom I thought I was the only one who noticed. Our daughter was very shy around new people and Kat was able to pull out smiles and giggles from her. Some of my favorite shots over the years are things that I would have never thought. Only Kat could make a shot of little mary jane shoes and grass stained tights look so good. Fast forward 10 years we still use Kat for a yearly family photo shoot. We have been thrilled with Kat's work. Her pictures are beautiful and I love having them hang on my wall. Her skills are far superior to most of the people out there who are photographers today. She has the proper equipment and space and is a true professional. Beyond that, she is friendly, easy going, understanding and great with children. During our first shoot, when my toddler was a bit (or a LOT) rambunctious, she didn't let it phase her and worked with us to get some great candid shots to supplement the posed ones. During our next shoot, when that same kid would not keep his tongue in his mouth, she worked with us to figure out a solution AND offered that we could come back another day for a quick picture of our whole family at no extra charge. I had seen Kat's work via Facebook posts by many friends and I loved so many of the backgrounds and poses, but I really appreciated Kat's ability to get photos that captured a kids personality. I needed headshots for my son and needed them quickly for a theater casting call, so I called Kat. She responded immediately and fo und a way to fit him in. She did the whole shoot in under 30 minutes and I had the digital files shortly after. The fact that she fit us in was amazing but the best part is that the photos are fantastic. She made my teenager comfortable, made him smile and laugh, and as a result, I have photos to cherish and he had a great headshot for his casting call. I first met Kat when she photographed y daughter's wedding. She did a WONDERFUL job and really captured the atmosphere. She then did my grandson's first bithday on the HOTTEST day of the year andmanaged to keep her cool AND his cool too. Then Kat took a family photo of me, my three daughters and two grandkds. This was a Christmas gift from my girls and the photos are so special to me.
