I chose one of their designs and was excited to get it because I'd been wanting a flower piece. I got it done. I forgot what his name was but I know his Instagram is @bones_tattooer . I didn't look at it right away because it got wrapped up but what ended up happening was he shaded in a petal that didn't need to be shaded in. By the time I noticed it was too late because I was flying home. I'm not from New York so I can't exactly go back and get it fixed. The female piercer (can't remember her name) was awesome - she allowed me and my friend to look at several earrings before deciding which ones we wanted and she explained the piercing procedure and after care to us. She was very patient because we are really picky! Lol The piercing experience was super quick and painless and I left feeling very satisfied after not being able to find any other piercing shop in the area that would take us without an appointment. A few weeks after my appointment, my after piercing care spray nozzle broke and they allowed me to come in and get another bottle for free! My piercing is healing great - I would definitely recommend.

I wanted to get my nose re-pierced since I was tired of seeing my old nose piercing scar. I emailed…read moreHermit Tattoo and called them to inquire about the jewelry options and they were very responsive. I decided to do a walk-in to get my nose pierced. Bri was the piercer on site and I was very specific I wanted it to be exactly where my old scar was, she acknowledged. Her technique was to pierce my nose from inside-out vs outside-in. She missed my scar. I have a shiny nose stud right on top of my scar making it even more prominent to the eyes. I am very disappointed and my choices are either to stare at my scar or to remove the stud and get an extra scar. I reached out to them via email to let them know my experience, I did not ask for a refund and did not expect them to give me one. I expected them to at least acknowledge their fault and show some sort of corrective action such as "i'll speak to Bri", "im sorry for your experience" but silence for 3 weeks now. That is really unprofessional, there is no accountability. I am traumatized.
