Please BEWARE! Kasen Contracting LLC is in the area doing contract work. Isaac Bussell is the owner. Local to the area. I would NOT recommend using this contractor. I do this with a heavy heart but would hate for anyone else to be in the horrible financial position we are in. Below are facts.
*Under contract Oct 15 2020, unfinished still as of 5/23/21
*Estimate $44,193 current invoice $46,842 has been paid $43118
*As of 5/23 pool house is drywall, mudded and primed on inside. No rough-in inspections are completed. An he lied several times about it.
*Metal roof incomplete but completely wrong and has to be redone. All materials and labor lost and will cost to have a PROFESSIONAL redo.
*Subcontractor not paid for past work or outstanding work even though he has been paid. So plumbing incomplete.
*Days and week of not showing no work completed. Verified he was doing other jobs while mine sits uncompleted.
*Months behind schedule
*leaves trash and tools all over the yard. Complete mess of a job site. Workers fishing from my dock. Coming on to my property at 8am on Sunday to get oysters from the water.
*no fan installed in the bathroom. Non tempered window by the shower stall. Plumbing pipes coming from top of foundation instead of underneath underground. So many things wrong.
*After receiving all $43,118 no show no return message for 2 weeks shows up on my property found loading lumber to take.
* had materials delivered to jobsite that sat for months in the rain and sun. This included interior items.
*the quality of work is VERY UNSKILLED. Most will have to be redone.
*worst part is he think he does an amazing job. Doesn't listen to concerns and defends his work, his labor and his actions. read more
