We visited the museum on October 8; it's close to Munich and therefore an easy train ride, and then…read moreit's just a short walk from the Augsburg train station. The (small) museum is part of the synagogue complex and it was certainly informative, although it would be a problem for those who don't understand German because nothing is translated. There's a small bookstore and (tiny) cafe on the first floor. The synagogue is lovely and it opened 102 1/2 years ago.
