I wasn't sure what to expect but all the different ingredients made for an enjoyable bowl. The bread bowl also contributed by thickening the soup as it abosrbed the broth. The duck breast with smoked plum sauce was thick, cooked medium and very tender. There was a little too much sauce for me but I liked the different taste. The atmosphere is very warm and cozy, the decor is very typical for the mountain region in Poland. Great heavy wooden tables and chairs, wood burning stoves, fireplaces, stone walls. Everything we ate in Karczma was delicious and the portions absolutely satisfying! We tried couple different dishes including potatoes, sausages, goulash, potato pancakes with mushroom sauce!
